I've grown up with Sierra classics such as the King's Quest and Space Quest series... heck, I probably learned to type before I learned to walk. The first adventure game I played when I was a wee lassie, and probably my most favourite one of them all, is that underrated Sierra title called The Conquests of the Longbow, a Robin Hood game.

I've always found Sierra games a bit more entertaining than LucasArts ones, but then again, I never completely finished a LucasArts game anyway. I'm getting close to finishing Monkey Island 1, though, I swear!

Well, this year my parents arranged an Easter party, and they had a whole bunch of strangers come to our house. Sadly, I was the one who had to greet them all, make conversation with them, and generally act like a happy-happy daughter for five hours.

No matter, they're all gone now. But, I guess they did bring chocolate, so it's all good.

What are the FOREGOs?

The FOREGOs are like the AGS Awards, except instead of nominating games for certain categories, we nominate AGS members. They are a way of recognizing and congratulating those in our community who break the mold.

What are the categories?

The complete list of the 2004 FOREGOs Categories can be found here.

How can we nominate?

To nominate, copy the code found here and give me (Dart) a PM with your nominations. You can only nominate up to three AGS members in each category. And remember, you do not have to fill out every category, but it's recommended.

When does nomination end? And when does voting begin?

Nomination for the FOREGOs will end in about two weeks time from now on March 31st. At this time, the nominations will be tabulated for each category and the five most prominent candidates in each category will move onto the voting stage. When voting begins is yet to be determined.

Hmm, I vote for Greece as well, since then the Israeli members could make it to the meeting.

It'd also be less of an expense for me, because I would have to pay about $4000 to travel to Australia, whereas Greece would be a lot cheaper. So, if you want a higher percentage of me coming to this year's Mittens, then hold it in Greece.
