For clarification ... are those "in-game" screenshots or are they (as you say) cutscenes?

Is there a GUI and a moving character(s) or is it more like Dragon's Lair type game?

Because you clearly read the rules and formatted your post accordingly I'm not going to lock this one down ... but do please get a second screenshot posted soon or I will have to!

Just a suggestion I've given to others before ... if you aren't far enough to have 2 different screenshots you probably jumped the gun a bit in posting a GiP thread.  Food for thought.

Good luck w/ the game and get that second [different] screen posted ASAP!

As I said over IM, I think they're great!  Very stylistic.

I'm not a huge fan of black outlines ... but I don't mind when others do it.  However, as just an idea I did a paint-over of one of them:


- altered the outline colors
- added 1 level of shading

Just a suggestion ... I rather like them the way they are as well!

Why don't you send a PM (as the forum rules suggest) rather than needlessly bumping a thread that hasn't been active for three months?  Anyone?

My problem isn't that it was/is traced (the rules don't specify no tracing).

My problem is that it's not a sprite in the strictest of terms.

Now ... no more jabber, back on task here people!!

Pablo's got the right idea ... there is nothing more annoying than a sig file that takes up a lot of room.

I have visited forums that don't restrict the sigs and you spend 90% of the time on a thread trying to sort out the actual posts from the cluttered/crap sig files.

Extremely annoying.

If you don't have 2 in-game screenshots you should have waited to post.

When you have another one, PM me (include the screen in the PM) and I'll reopen this thread.  In the future, please read the rules before posting.

Space BGs are some of my favorites to work on 'cause you can achieve such great results with a minimal amount of work

Spent most of the time on the planets.  Just some ideas you might like to look at (not sure of the capabilities of the program you're using.)

Anyway ... hope it helps.  Perhaps later I'll take a stab at the title screen.

The graphical style seems nice ... why not show the first screenie without the big book covering it!!  I want to see it!
