I actually respect that you stick around and keep on trying.  However, you need to start listening to the advice that is given (some you do listen, some you ignore).

Unless the rose is supposed to be flat like that, you really should spend a tad more time on it before posting.  Even if it was just a "timekiller".

There really aren't any strict rules about what you can and can't post, but still.  It seems like you do these things intentionally to irritate people?

It's nice, and understandable, that you don't want to reveal too much of the game but you still must follow the forum rules!

Please post another screenshot (not a menu screen, it must be an "in-game" screenie) even if it's similar.

EDIT- IT WORKED!!  My experiment was a success!  Now I shall destroy this infernal time machine ...

I once had a fish .... it was all black with a nice white dot on it.  I called it (not sure if it was a boy fish or a girl fish) Pixel.

You could try something clever with it like, Pixellia (picks'ul'E'uh).

Of course the other three fish in the tank were RAM and ROM (they looked alike) and Backslash.

How about Indipity.  Then you chould call her Indi as well

My girlfriend's name is Sara.  But she has no middle name (which is a pretty standard thing over here in the US for those that don't know).  So I told her that her middle name should be Indipity ... then her name would be Sara Indipity.

The name sort of stuck and I occasionally call her that.  (It's also the name of the female love interest character in JP & Cosmo II)

You'd have no way of knowing if somebody used a translator of some kind.

What would be better is if the one that starts the contest creates some gibberish language for use in the comic.  Then EVERYbody could take part.

Eeek!  Blurriness = no no!!

I totally dig the unblurry version though.

I made some minor changes (really quickly in Photoshop) just to give you some ideas.

As was mentioned, there's too much of a color change from the waves, even big waves as night wouldn't (probably) show up that much AND for that long of a distance up and down the shore!

Here's my paintover:



- I achieved that water line with only 3 colors (don't know if you're opposed to dithering like that though).
- I altered the "wetness" marks on the beach.
- the shadows cast from the treeline were altered as well to give a sense of the folliage on the sand.
- covered a little of the river going through the trees (as InCreator mentioned)

If you want to simulate waves (which is tough!) you'll want to use angled lines approaching the shore.  But they shouldn't extend the length of the shore either!

So, if my wife got pregnant, started using drugs and going wacky on me, she could go kill off my unborn child without my say so?  I should have just as much rights to that child as her, unless I was being an unfit husband.

As I'm sure you know, we had Hurricane Wilma here in Florida on Sunday the 23rd. I have been without power for the past 2 days.  Therefore, this has been a partial reason for BJ5 being delayed, and, to tell you the truth, after this ordeal, the game is the last thing on my mind at the moment.

So, blame Mother Nature!  BJ5 might be out for Halloween, it might not be. It will be out when it is out.

Because I agree with Squinky too.  Who has the right to choose for the unborn child who can't speak for him/herself?

I don't think a woman has the right to get an abortion.  I think she has the right to make the choice.

The only Man (male, guy, dude, etc) who should have ANY say in the matter should be the father of the child.

I don't see why the state / gov. needs to be involved.  If they make it illegal (as was mentioned earlier) it won't stop it.  It'll just make it FAR more dirty and un-safe.

Drugs are illegal too ... look how effective those laws are!

As for telling the husband, I don't think I touched on it enough in my last post.

I don't think it would be a bad thing if she was required to tell the father of the child ... however, the father shouldn't have the power to stop it (short of talking her out of it)  In other words, she doesn't need his permission to have the abortion, but he has a right to know about it.

Again, as with almost all things, there'd always be exceptions to this rule.

This is such a touchy topic ...

There's a part of me that says, "It's the man's kid too ... he has a right to know!"

But there's also a part of me that says, "It's her body ... she can do what she wants!"

If I were married, and my wife got pregnant and wanted an abortion ... You know what?  I'm not even going to think about it.  I don't know how I'd react and I hope I never face the situation.

My opinion on abortion is this:

I don't like it.  But a woman has the right to choose for herself.

I certainly don't think the state/government should have any say it in though.

I like it.

I don't mind that the graphic doesn't really represent anything.  I don't think it NEEDS to necessarily.  But that's just my opinion.

Another thing I would suggest is to remove "Adventure Games" from under Sektor 13 ... I think it would look better without that.  Just a thought
