I love the style!
It feels a tad washed-out to me and could use a little contrast punch!
(I also made the skin-tone a little more pink but if you're not going for a caucasion look you can ignore the skin tone adjustment)

Yes, yes you do! It's a magically great movie. Excellent cinematography, great directing (Ridley Scott), great acting (just cheesy enough), some great (pre-CG) practical effects. All around a great movie.

I wash my hands before (and after) using the bathroom.
The keyboard I'm touching all day is a disgusting cesspool of dirt, oils, dead skin, hair and bacteria (DISCLAIMER: I clean ALL my keyboards weekly).
Your hands are most likely dirtier before you use the bathroom than they are after as you transferred some of the filth to your willy in the process.
Common Sense? Wash up before and after hittin' the head!

I think Jim Carrey is actually a very talented actor (now). He was amazing in Man in the Moon (1999), The Truman Show (1998), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004).
Back in 1985 I just didn't see it from his performance in Once Bitten.
