Okay okay!! Let's get back on target here!

At this point let's just wait for Uttoran to confirm it's being made in AGS Thanks for the clarification.

The biggest problem I see is they are sooooo dark!

I did a quick demonstration on the "just before intro ends" image:


- punched up the brightness a lot
- centered the composition (unless you were going for a "something's out of whack" feeling in which case ignore this one)
- I didn't get the feeling this one was supposed to be dark and ominous so I brightened it a lot, but even 1/2 of what I did would make it read far better IMO

Also the bedroom w/ the chandelier:


- upped the brightness a lot as well

Now with this one I got the sense of a "midnight mood" type thing so if you wanted to stylize it a bit more you could do something like this:



I went a tad overboard on that one but it illustrates the point well enough I think

I did these very quickly but if you spend a little more time on the lighting I think the end results would be much improved!

I believe this is Once Bitten, another Karen Hopkins film.

Well, about it being Once Bitten (1985) at least... but her name is Karen Kopins and I admit I was obsessed with her back in the day

This was also the movie that introduced me to Jim Carrey and I remember thinking, "this guy is a terrible actor... he'll never make it big".

Do you mean you want to drag around icons as on the desktop?

Yes exactly! So you can drag the icons (within a fixed grid layout) to any location/order you want. So you don't necessarily have to have them all in one area either.

Babar requested a list instead of icon view, which I will add sometime.

List view would be neat too!

Do you store any data with this? Like "last played date"? It might be neat to display that kind of information as well!

I'm at work (can't DL/try it here) but I have some questions/suggestions.

Can you customize the names (and icons) or is it just what comes from the folder? It would be cool to be able to customize them as you want!

Can you select the layout or is like iOS where it's auto-placed and you can't change it?

I figured it was just more of the bandwagon hopping (and I still think a LOT of it is) that is so popular these days.

Darth, I think that maybe, even though you didn't upgrade straight away, you upgraded before Microsoft decided to get aggressive

I don't remember the exact dates but the laptop (the old one that took longer than the others) was about 3 weeks ago and the one in my bedroom was last week end.

See that's the thing; I didn't!

My Surface Pro 3 came with Windows 8 (which I just never took a shining to). I had it for a few months before the update to 10 became available. I upgraded as soon as I could (to ditch 8). After my Surface was updated I used Windows 10 for a long time before updating the rest of my boxes. Wanted to make sure it was enough of an improvement from 7 (which I'm still a big fan of). In that time each machine had the "notification" in the sys-tray but never once did anything popup (nag) or download the update secretly (I monitor all incoming/outgoing bandwidth so I'd have been alerted if something that large was DLing!). When I made the decision to upgrade I had to DL the files and proceed from there. It was fast, easy and painless for all my systems (the laptop, as I mentioned previously, took over an hour to do the upgrade but it wasn't a big deal).

It really is weird to me to read all these horror stories.

I just don't get why it happened to some, and not to me.

I might write it off as coincidence if I was only updating 1 computer but I have several so it seems I just got lucky.

Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket...

It's surprising to me how many of you had these bad experiences.

It's odd how some of you can have such events when I experienced nothing close to any of that.

Why was evil Microsoft targeting you over me?

Did you curse them on some forums somewhere?

Did you anger the M$ Gods?
