That is wicked cool!!

I had a whole book of these things once (don't know where it is now) and I trained my eyes to focus right in on them.

The AGS one is a little harder to get than the brachiosaurus but both are neat-o!

Some people, I think, are incapable of seeing these.  My mom, who has excellent eyesite can only see them every once in awhile and she see's them inverted.  So if you can't see them don't worry about it.

Though you ARE missing out ;)

Damn you m0ds ... DAMN YOU!!!

You've just contributed to me wasting hours and hours of my life!!!

But seriously!  I used to LOVE that game.  I remember coming home from school and playing that game over and over.  That and Space Quest.

Awesome link!

EDIT - Now if only somebody on here has an actual link to the game elFish ...

Awesome!

I remember seeing these screenies awhile back and was wonderin' where this had gone!

Glad you're back and I look forward to the new screenies and the game!

PenguinX - Thanks!  I was meaning to do that anyway ... but had forgotten!  So thanks!

Farlander, Hotshot - Thanks!  I liked it better too and was going to change it back.  Sorry Heuij and Ben ... I just like it better this way!

Hollister,Squinky - I'm going to rework the side animation soon ... I'll see about de-limping him

Here's the latest version:

I'm really happy with how it looks now!!

Squinky - Up until I moved to Florida a month or so ago my roommate's name was Scott Bakkila and everytime I told somebody that they were like "That actor guy??"

Man did that get old ;)

My first Indiana Jones memory is watching Raiders of the Lost Ark on my dad's brand new VCR ... that darn thing cost like 1200 bux back then!!  We had a HUGE 25 inch Sony TV set in the family room.  He had this kick ass sound system that was ... get this Hi-Fi stereo!!!

It was awesome!  I remember thinking the melting faces were just awesome even though my mom tried to get me to look away "Don't look at it Marion ... keep your eyes shut!!"

These are great examples of what movies should be like ...

And Barcik ... I'd wager that the Godfather has been ripped off far more times than I.J. ... just my opinion :)

Added arm sway and removed leg shifting ...

Still not looking quite right to me ...

Newest version:

I tried a different approach.  This only has six frames of animation but I think it looks better.

Is this an improvement? (I'm going to put a little arm sway in too)

You have had a lot of jobs ...

The leader of a bluegrass band ...
A martial artists/stuntman ...

AND you've even been a DOCTOR????

Man ... I thought I had a lot of jobs.

:: ADDED NEW CHARACTER ... CHECK PAGE 2 ::

I've been working on this fu*ker for awhile and it's driving me crazy.

I just can't seem to get it to look right.

This is my latest iteration:

What is wrong with it?  It just doesn't look right ... I'm happy with everything but the legs, however, all c&c is welcome and appreciated.

cheers,

Couldn't agree more!  I can't wait to get the DVD collection.

Dr. Jones rules!!

My favorite scene is the scene ...

"I found him!", said the random seaman.
"Where?", asks the Captain.
Throwing his hand out, finger pointing towards the German u-boat, the random seaman shouts, "There!"

Then we see Indy climbing on top of the sub and running to the con-tower to enter the sub.  The music (by the legendary John Williams) providing the backdrop just perfects it all.

Great film making.

Quote(anyone who found it 'boring' whilst claiming to enjoy his other films obviously only appreciated them on their most superficial level, and can't understand real depth)

I understand real depth.

Just because it had depth doesn't mean I have to like it.

... and you're mean!  (see?  Real depth)

Check the Tutorials thread at the top of the page!  There should be something in there for you.

Also, use yourself as a reference.

Also, Kafka's Koffee Tutorials has a good down walking tutorial I believe.

QuoteNo, the thing that really made Jackie Brown was Robert Forster as Max Cherry -- He was totally in control and so damn smooth.
He did alright ... my problem wasn't with the acting.  I just wasn't entertained.  I'm glad somebody liked the movie!  It was good to see Forster trying that hard though because, in my opinion, he peaked in The Black Hole

I was a little hesitant to dig up this old thread (and reading through it is kind of funny) but I didn't want to start a new thread when this one was (originally) for this type of post.  It just got off topic.

Anyhoo ... This is really coo! stuff ...

DeGraeve.com - GIF2TXT Page

You can give them a gif file and they'll convert it to text (ASCII, HTML or UBB code).  I guess this doesn't really have a practical purpose ... but I think it's cool.  And (the posts that WERE on topic) talked about finding a program to do this for you.

Here's one I did for my company logo:

So I'm guessing that my original post items were done using something like this.
