Too bad the DOS engine has been discontinued, so this won't work with games made (or if you want to make games) with newer versions of AGS.
Now I have even more reasons to stay with old versions.
(Yeah, as I've just returned home from work, this post was indeed typed from my Android phone.)
Quote from: JJS on Tue 02/08/2011 17:51:43Well shit.
Edit: Looks like whatever backward compatibility code there was in 3.1.x is gone in the current version.
Quote from: JJS on Tue 02/08/2011 17:51:43As in the interaction editor? I thought that "compiled" straight to code, behind the scenes.
For example, I don't see how the old interaction system was defined/stored.

I couldn't tell for sure in English, but if it's the same as in French, then in theory, you're not supposed to start a sentence with "...". This is some incorrect syntax inherited from the comic books. Having said that, let's accept this form and let's pretend that we don't see the suspension dots. Then it's your regular sentence : "Maybe not." (then again this can be tolerated only in a dialog, as all sentences are supposed to contain a verb, except for a few exceptions).
Since it's a sentence, then yes, you start it with a capital letter.

The ellipsis indicated that something has been left out, if you start a sentence with "..." you are telling you've left out the beginning of the sentence. Since this would also have contained the cap you should continue lowercase after the ellipsis.
However, as Mister Ouxx pointed out, sometimes it is used in comic books to indicate a pause, in that case the beginning of the sentence isn't left out so it should start with a cap. Though you could wonder if you should use the ellipsis at all in that case.
Quote"...maybe not."or
Quote"...Maybe not."?

Well, I can't, because I use this name on other things. I know it's spelled wrong. So is Google, but they haven't changed it. I came up with it when I was younger.
Oh, and I'm not putting Square's stuff in my game. I took all FF stuff out of PMQ: Moogles, Chocobos, and Cid. My last Square game will be Neku's New Trip 3 chap8.
