Oh, with walkable areas there is. But how were we supposed to know that that's what you meant? It's to the right of Paint Bucket, or press ctrl-Z.

'tis a very strange game, 96x96 letterboxed res, no introduction, that kind of thing.
It's also my first (other than test stuff (you do NOT want to play my 'Escape' series (no relation to the released game called Escape (I use a lot of nested brackets (don't I (yes I do (oh God I have to stop it now (heh)))))))).

Firefox. No question there.*

I use Opera Mini for my mobile phone (although I tried BOLT recently, neat, sleek and feature-filled but not quite as stable as Opera Mini.)
Great but it doesn't always display all images. I assumed this was a memory problem, but BOLT displays them all no problem, even on higher quality levels, so I'm not quite sure what to think about that now.

* FOR ME, that is. I also do not try to objectively define one browser as superior.


(since this thread has been bumped back up anyway I might as well post my favorite browser)

Road Overviewing The City

Made in OpenCanvas (the old 1.x version) and edited in Paint.NET.
Not intended for a specific game imperse, but I have an idea or two and it just might fit in.
Welcoming any comments/criticism/whatever.

Really? Hm. As an example, I have a link to Half-Life dev mode in my quicklaunch.
When I right-click it and choose Properties, under 'Target' I have "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -dev" (sans quotes).

When you try to use these commands, are you sure you're adding them to 'Target' not 'Start In' or whatever?
If command-line options absolutely won't work, then something is wrong... try running a virus check or whatever, or post in a dedicated troubleshooting forum, 'cause it's important to be able to use commandline options, on any system.

seconded, and the exporter doesent work either, not for me anyway. you could export to obj and convert that to 3ds with another program. as for smd, i think theres a script for that, google it

Great! I like this. Easiest 3d adventure maker ive ever seen (though i havent yet tried ags s 3d plugins) oh and whats the walkarea thing, it includes walls so it cant literally be a walkable areas thing, is it more a what-to-bother-checking collision thing, to speed it up? oh and can you change the name of the exe. really sorry for all these questions

Ok, just two more questions: does it support normal/bump/light maps, and can you completly disable the shadows? oh and will it be open source?

hm, played about with the demo game and skimmed the scripting. looks pretty good and easy to use. ok, a few things: one, obj or collada support for meshes would be great. two, can you compile it or do you have to distribute the data folder? will mebbe edit with a few more questions. edit: can you have better shadows
