Disco, you will bring a deckchair and a hammock? How much did your private jet cost?

Hehe, I don't like to discuss figures. :D

The hammock thing is in case we are allowed to sleep under the stars (I'm not spoiled, but waking up in a bonafide furnace does not appeal). Besides, I'm due for a whole new bed, portable or otherwise.

At work today everyone was trying to talk me out of my Mittens trip, which includes a side trip to London. I never thought of cancelling, and to tell you the truth, this tragedy only makes me want to travel more often. Life goes on, and you never know, it could be me one day who is caught in the crossfire.

Here I come world.

Disco, is that old folding metal chair your computer chair?

Yep, that's it, though the picture seems void of my bum pad. You're right about the comfort level being low after a while, so I use a cushion.

After Mittens, I was considering suggesting a few days meetup at Niagra Falls for the Midwest/Ontario/New York folks. There are plenty of AGSers from each of those regions, and I'd dare Dart to slap me with a trout in real life :D. I'm determined to get a Niagra meetup going before next summer. Does this sound neato? C'mon Arasan, DragonRose, Dart, Eric, BT, (I know there's more).

We should start a Brittenesque tent rollcall. I will not have one, but will pay my share of the tent fee to my roommate(s). I will have a chair, but the camp seems to have plenty of seating around the bars and pools, so I don't know how crucial it will be.

Helm- It's probably not the best idea, but I'm curious- what is the camp's policy on non-tenty sleeping? I might bring a foldaway hammock :-\

Hey there monkey_05_06! I bet you're a lawyer in real life, huh?

I now have a complete trip :D! This morning I booked the Detroit -> London leg. I was a bit worried when I bought London -> Athens before having this one (and being 5,000 miles from London) but now the stomach knot hath unwined!

Me taking a break while doing a little patrolling-

(I seem to be overcome by film grain)

And the original, me taking a break by suspending myself above a cave enterance to the otter exhibit at the zoo.

Nevermind the expression, I'm explaining to the photographer how to navigate my camera.

(oh and btw there exist NO official C&H t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. Of course it's easy to stick a JPEG on any smooth surface, but that doesn't make it merchandisable)

What about those stickers of Calvin peeing on stuff? I see quite a few of them on cars in the region I inhabit.

I wish the author of C+H would put a stop to that. They are annoying and beyond trashy ::)

Thanks Pablo. I just woke up, and beheld a strange sight. Like TerranRich, I suppose my mother had no idea what to get me. I just didn't expect to see this on my computer desk/perch:

Okay, it's my favorite, but  :-\. I don't feel right about beer as a birthday present. What does that tell others when they see two 12 packs accompanied by a note saying "Happy Birthday!"

Good god!

Good lord, get an NES! SNES might have Final Fantasy IV on it's side, but look at the SNES's port of Super Mario Bros. 2, They ruined it!!

They messed with the music and backgrounds, and don't get me started on the freaking GBA version. ACCK! >:( :( :'(

SMB2 is my all time favorite game across all platforms and genres, so realise my opinion comes with much crappy-port-induced bias.

Disco, 12th at 15:05, Flight Swiss 1822 (2 DAYS AGO!111!!!)

Well, I'm not going to spend close to 2000 USD for just going to Mittens :) I'm sure it would be worth it, but it's much more worth it to also spend three days in the UK, three days in Athens,  a few hours in Geneva and then a week long Mittens! =^.^=

Oh, I just said the outrage thing because some lawyers, notably Johnnie Cochran, say that often. I haven't yet downloaded the game.

If anyone wants to meetup on the Sunday we could probably find storage lockers for luggage and have a brief Athens visit, or just hang around the airport and have our own mini-mittens for 12 hours before we head onto the campsite. Or perhaps we can arrange to be at the site a day early?

Unless everyone decides to get to Athens by the 14th, we should probably stay in town until everyone arrives. I will have been in Athens two days by the time you guys get there. I planned on staying at the hostel again that night but I could hang out around town/airport with you instead and save 25 euros in the process.
A small night out is a good idea, as 12 hours is a long time to sit in an airport.

Disco has booked :D Pleasantness! I arrive in Athens on the 12th at 3:05 p.m. and depart the 23rd at 3:50 pm.

That flight leaves from London, so I still need to get to London from Detroit!

I have some stuff that will not yet make a comprehensible game, so I'm in for the "Release Something" event. Screenshots and perhaps an animation or two can be expected from me. Let's set a date! How about June 22, say......'round noonish (GMT)? Anybody? Have you're people call my people.
..
Eh, make it whenever you want..it wasn't my idea :P
