I grabbed Monkey Island 2. The only one i don't own and the only MI game i haven't played. It still doesn't seem legal and will delete it if it isnt, but since they have it for download, i decided to download it. It works great under ScummVM.

I have never heard some of those before. I think they would make a great radio station in the next Grand Theft Auto game.

Very well produced and funny as hell.  :)

I think the only song i could play was HOT CROSS BUNS. I was good at that one, but stunk at the rest. I remember having a concert for our families when i was, if i can remember correctly, probably in 3rd or 4th grade. I just pretended to play it (the recorder) while on stage. Boy, were my parents so proud of me.  :D

believe it or not, true story.

I got a nice Christmas bonus check from work.

I also bought myself Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2, that was my gift to myself.

There was a member here a couple of years ago that was so outraged by CJ's message, that he swore he would never use AGS again. He was seriously pissed off. We told him just to change the date on his computer, but his mind was already made up. Too bad that thread isn't still around here somewhere.

Not an AGS game, but i was thinking of Sierra's Mixed Up Mother Goose. I believe that game had a parser. It is a game designed for children. But i cannot remember since it has been a long time since i played it.  It was a fun game though.

I guess Wiisure Suit Larry wouldn't be the type of game you would play with your children or if your grandparents came in from out of town. How would multiplayer work?  ;)

Even if a game like that were currently in development. I am about 100% sure that Nintendo would never approve it.

But, i have to admit, that i would definitely buy the game if it were real. Even though it would be weird strapping the Wiimote to certain areas of my body.  :)

I bought my PSP to play games, but wound up using it as my multimedia device. I have music, videos & pictures on my PSP and i also do a lot of Web Browsing with it too. Oh, and i also have a few games for it. It's a great little gadget.

Mr. Jim, where is your sense of humor? I hope you didn't get offended because somebody said you look like Steve "Carell"

Don't take it personally, we tend to kid around alot on the AGS forums. I don't know why you are getting so worked up about it. Relax and have fun here.

You are not funny and you should be medicated for your anger issues.

I liked your backgrounds, but now you are being a major pain.

Good luck finding help now after your hissy-fit you are having.

General Discussion / Re: New Comp Idea - 3D

Good idea, but i would have to go against it. I agree with Darth on this one, where there were too many competitions going on at once, and a lot of them got overlooked.

I feel bad for the Photoshopping contest. It used to be really popular at one time, but now seems like a dud. I hope it can be resurrected somehow. Maybe DGMacphee will have to take the reigns of it again.

Happy 18th Birthday to my fellow AGS'er north of the border.

Looks fantastic. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the checker board shading. Has that Kings Quest 4 feel to it. Good work.

edit: i mean checker board coloring, not shading.
