Yesterday i had my dentist appointment to have my cracked wisdom tooth looked at. I just thought it had to be refilled, because i had fillings put in it back in 2004. But no, it couldn't be that easy i guess.

I was told it had to be removed. I was scared to death. Like some people already know i have major anxiety, and almost started panicking during my visit. I had two shots, one to my gums and one right in the roof of my mouth (holy crap that hurt)

Then the dentist did some pulling and pushing and wiggling of my tooth, while my heart was beating so fast i told him to stop because i thought i was having a heart attack. About a few minutes later he was able to extract the whole tooth without any problems.  This was the first procedure like this i have ever had so i was a tad bit upset afterwards. (I didn't even get to work yesterday). But now it is over and i'm waiting for it to heal. I know you aren't supposed to smoke after this, but i am smoking a few cigs tonight and hope the blood clot doesn't pop out and then i get the dreaded dry socket.

I am so glad thats over. Worst experience i've had in years.  :'( :'( :'(

Now i have a doctors appointment tomorrow too...what a week i'm having.

Female, Male, Shemale...Queen Kara did nothing wrong. I don't care who makes the games. I am no sexist, so i could care less. More power to the Queen.

Would anybody freak out if DOOM were made by girls?? Probably not.

This is one game i played when i was in my early teens that i really, really loved....

It was called Below The Root, and i played it on my friends C-64 and then on the Tandy 1000.

This is one game i cannot forget, and can't believe i didn't think of it before.

Great video Dave!! Congratulations. Those were really nice to watch.

Good thing your porn pics didn't pop up when hooking up your computer.

Today is day three of having one of my molars crack. I had three fillings put in a little over a year ago, and on Sunday i was having a cube of cheese when i starting chewing on something crunchy.

I was freaking out because i didn't know what it was. Then i realized by putting my tongue on my farthest back molar (one that was filled) and noticed some of it was missing. Now i'm sitting here with a giant hole in my tooth and i can't stop putting my damn tongue on it.

I have an appointment for the dentist next week, but i don't like going to the dentist. But i have no choice. I'm just wondering if the resin filling fell out.

Now i am afraid of cheese.  :)

Take care all,

Shawn

It was really sad to see his daughter giving a speech about her daddy. I'm 33 years old and would cry rivers if my dad were to pass away.

skyfire, how would you feel if it were your dad who died this way. Would you be glad then?  I cannot understand how you could feel that glad that he died. Even if you meant to be sarcastic, it wasn't funny. Respect for you has gone down a little.

The one thing that really pisses me off is that people to this day still blame DOOM for their children's violent behavior. Jackass Thompson had mentioned something about some young punks training with DOOM to go on a killing spree. C'mon give me a break, that is total horse****. Out of the millions of people that have played DOOM, only a handful decided it would be fun to just go on a killing spree. I guess that is enough evidence to blame the game, and also the same for GTA. It is just a scapegoat for people with violent tendencies just if they are caught.

I read or heard somewhere about some guy out shooting people for fun and then blamed GTA because he had been playing it too much.

Blame the parents for an unproper upbringing. Please don't blame video games. I've played enough violent video games in my time, but when i'm done, i just turn the power off. Maybe these psycho teens should do the same.

Thank you.

also props to Adam Sessler for sticking up for the game industry. I'm totally with him on this one.

I am just wondering how somebody like that is dealt with? I know all of his trolling and offensive posts are deleted, but what actually happens to the poster. I know that people never get banned around here, but does he get a warning from CJ, or does he put a block on his IP address. Even after a few hours of him posting crap, he was still online.

Like i said, just wondering.

Hello everyone. Well, i am on day 12 of my Lexapro (antidepressant and anti anxiety med). I can't tell if it is working or not. I felt good for the first couple of days, and then the side effects kicked in.

I have also had some beers during that 12 day period, and hope the meds still work even though i mixed it with alcohol. It may take up to 4 to 6 weeks to get into my system, but i'm hopeful that in a few weeks i can shake off this damn depression that i have had the last 6 years.

I want to be the old me, who enjoyed life and had no depression or anxiety.

Wish me luck,
Shawn

http://www.cornucopia3d.com/galleries/index.php

Cornucopia site which is Vue Esprit related. Some of the images on that site are amazing and all done in 3D using the Vue software. I own Vue 5, so i became a member and only have one image on that site, but the software is easy to use, and does one heck of a job with 3D. It may be expensive to buy, but well worth the money.

only pic i uploaded to their site. Not the best, but i'll get better.

It is funny that some magazines i read (GAMEPRO, i'm calling you out) consider GTA an adventure game, and even classify it as one during their year end awards. How dare they!!  :=

Hello again my favorite thread.  :) My dad and stepmother and their new dog toby packed up and went back to Florida for the winter months. My dad who is retired moved to Florida last year, and came back to live here for the summer, and now has left after a couple of months. I am sad. I watched my dad pack up the RV and head out on the open road. I'm gonna miss him until he returns next May or June.  :'(

edit: glad this thread is moving again.

Also, Duke3D for the PC comes with the awesome BUILD level editor, which you can make your own levels. Back in 1996 i tried working on some cool levels, which were awesome, and also fun to make, but unfortunately the BUILD editor will not work in WinXP. (tried to make levels again recently)  There was a BUILD editor for XP which you can find online, but was missing about 90 percent of the textures needed to build a decent level.

My favorite was "Time to Kill" for the PS1. Great game.

This deserves to be brought back to the first page. R.I.P.  Steve, you'll be missed.

I found a tribute video online tonight that was very nice.

Wouldn't that be nice mOds. I bought that program last year and it cost me almost 400 bucks.  It is a great program that i was going to use to make backgrounds for a nice little game, but i got lazy and just farted around with the program, making nothing really decent. But it is worth every penny.
