Critics' Lounge / Re: Team Logo
Sat 24/09/2005 01:23:51
Whatever happened to that guy who used to do alot of logo's for people. I wish i could remember his name. But he is a forum member here and would take requests. That guy did some great work with logo's and would also design people's logo's without asking for a cent. Does anybody remember him. It could have been penguinX or something similar. Maybe i should try to find that thread.

General Discussion / Re: Hurricane Coming!!!

This has been one hell of a Hurricane Season.  I feel bad for New Orleans. Getting pounded twice like they have. When will it ever end.

I wish the best also to the people who are in the path of Hurricane Rita. May everyone be safe and that things don't end up as bad as predicted.

It has to be Dr. Evil. The scariest & funniest evil doctor on the planet.

He eventually got friggin sharks with laser beams on their head. How evil can that be.

I started out as BuffaloGamer when i first joined the forums, then i switched to Dark of Night and i kept that name for over a year, but it made me sound like i was a Goth or somebody who worshipped the night time.  That really didn't describe me at all.

So last night, i was thinking of changing my forum name, and it suddenly hit me. I love Genesis, I love Invisible Touch, and one of my favorite songs on that album is DOMINO.  So i changed it.  It is a great song, but even better live. So hopefully this will remain my forum name for the rest of my days here.

I saw Genesis live back in 1992 in Syracuse, and DOMINO was one of the best songs played. I still get goosebumps listening to it.

Take care all,

Shawn

Silent hill 1 2 and 3.  (Scary as hell and a great example of how to do atmosphere).

Amen my friend. Too bad SH4 was such a stinker (in my opinion).  Silent Hill 2 was the best of the series.

I'm sorry but i think that controller looks terrible and i'd probably be so uncoordinated using it. I never actually liked the Gamecube controller either.

I will eventually buy all of the next gen systems, and even though i am a Playstation fan myself (and have all of the current consoles), i'll probably end up getting an Xbox360 at launch.

Looking forward to elder scrolls : Oblivion

Sorry for double posting.  I'm hoping AGA or Scotch could help me with this. I contacted CJ but he told me to post in this thread and ask them for help since they wrote it.

Since i switched my screen name here on the forums i ran into a little problem in the World Map.  I was Dark of Night and switched to DOMINO, but when i went to move my flag as DOMINO, it just left Dark of Night and added DOMINO. I don't want to have 2 flags right by each other. Would it be possible to remove the one i don't want.  I thought by adding my new flag that it would automatically delete the old flag.

I'd appreciate any help on this  :)

I had a very weird dream last night that AGA was stalking me and then put something on my back and i wasn't happy. He was laughing uncontrollably, and it scared me. Then he tried to kill me.  Well, in my dream he was some sort of demon that wanted me dead. I would go into details, but the dream scared the crap out of me.  By the way this was actually a dream i had last night (and not made up). I woke up right after.  Sorry AGA, but please don't stalk and try to kill me.  :)

I now have holy water next to my bed.

I put my flag about 99 percent to where i live, but i'm moving a few miles away in two weeks, so i don't mind.

So to all you stalkers, i have an attack cat with sharp teeth. But if you feed my cat, i don't think he will mind you.  :)

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.  To this day I still find myself humming the music and i think it's unforgettable. It might not be alot of people's cup of tea, but i sure like it.

Potch, i'm assuming it's gonna be like the Kings Quest Collection that came out a few years ago. I think they were made to run on todays machines.  I can run all the games in the Kings Quest Collection pretty good with no troubles on my current PC that runs Win XP. (well, there were a few issues with some of the games not running right in certain resolutions, but other than that, a-okay)

I wish i still had all my LEGO's from when i was younger. I used to have a box full of them and i used to build with them all of the time.

I remember trying to build Walt Disney World with them. It was too bad that i didn't have enough pieces, so i only ended up with the main gate and part of Main Street U.S.A.

My aunt works for LEGO, maybe i could give her a call.  :)

oh, and one more odd ball toy that my parents bought me for christmas when i was little.  It was the JAWS game. It had a plastic JAWS (the shark) with little plastic pieces of garbage in his mouth and you had to pull them out with something (can't remember), but if you touched the inside or side of his mouth, his jaw would close shut, scaring the crap out of me. It was similar to Operation i guess.

he he, i just found it on the net...here is JAWS, the game

The most popular one that i can think of for NY State is The New York Post (I believe that is the correct title), and there is another one too, but i can't think of its name off the top of my head.

There's also The Buffalo News, which is the largest newspaper in Western New York.

Great pictures everyone. I still have a ton more to look at.  Looks like it was another awesome Mittens.  I still feel bad i couldn't make it to last years in NY. I'd love to meet all of you.

I'm off to look at more pics.

If that is you talking on the second link, you've got a great radio voice. If it's not you, then that person has a great radio voice.

I was waiting for some tunes
