I'm sure it's possible in AGS, but might require alot of coding (not sure i know nothing about coding)

You could try Game Maker, in which the engine is designed for those type of arcade style games.

Good Luck  :)

I bought The Curse of Monkey Island from a local game store, a few years back.  There was Grim Fandango as well, I really wish I had gotten it.

I found CMI back in 2000 at a Media Play (US) for like $10 on the bargain game rack. I grabbed that sucker right away. I'm glad i did, and you can't beat that price unless you get it new for free.

Thats's really cool. How come i never have such luck? (getting free games)

It's always nice to really find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, isn't it?  :)

Sorry off topic, but Chicky, the Flying School for me has been impossible on the PS2 also.

So i'm just looking for tags, snapshots, horseshoes and oysters.  I have totally given up on the Flying School and trying to beat the game.  :(

I'm sorry Fluke, but i didn't get a laugh at any of those jokes.

Time to hit the Gong. (For those that remember the Gong Show)

Doesn't seem to be working at the moment.  I wanted to see if any new flags were added.

With the state of the world as it is now...

Will the Earth still be here in 50,000 years?

I guess it will be destroyed by some nuclear war generations from now.  :(

If the Earth still exists, my message would be to dig up my old, old, old bones and recreate me. Bring me back to life, even if i have 3 heads and a tail.  :)

This is way better than the old map. I like how you can see the persons avatar above where their flag is. This rocks my socks.  :)

To quote one Mr. Bruce Campbell which was in a video game magazine awhile back...

"You can cut off a breast, you just can't kiss it"

After a few rounds of drinks, AGS gave me the best night of my life. I'll never forget that romantic evening we spent together.

I gave AGS some cab fare early in the morning while i was still in bed, but unfortunately AGS stole my TV and my microwave on the way out the door.

But i still love AGS.

I think the animation looks great.  The only thing that bothers me is his eye.  You should make his eye open (or make the eye larger, and with the white showing). Other than that, i can't see any probs.

I really like these backgrounds.  I think they look great.

I was so impressed that i actually downloaded a trial version of Vue 5 Esprit, which i found extremely easy to use, and it  had some real impressive features.  I ended up purchasing the program, but it's not cheap.  It cost's $249 (US).

Thank you Jade for inspiring me to make my BG's in 3D.  You've done some nice work.

How many games are you working on? Try to focus on 1 game at a time.

The Dreaded Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  I know what it's like because i've had it since i was a kid.

I still find myself checking my alarm clock to make sure that i set the right time, and double checking, but not as much lately because i'm starting to realize that i did set the right time and i shouldn't obsess over it.

I also find myself checking to make sure doors are locked and lights are off and also make sure that certain items in my house are unplugged before i leave for work in the morning.  In rare instances i have gotten to my car and went back up to check again. (This becomes annoying)

But i do have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) which sucks, because i get nervous and have panic attacks for no reason. This is something i have suffered with for awhile, but now i am realizing that i have to take care of this and now looking for treatment.  It's not a fun thing to have, but i'm coping.  I just have to change the way i think and that is the first step in getting better.  I think really negative alot, and that causes me to get anxious. But like i said, changing the way you think can really make a person feel alot better.

This is the first time i mentioned my GAD on this Forum, and if anybody else is suffering from it, I know what you're going through.

Wish me luck in beating this Demon.  :)

I pretty much agree with everyone's posts.  I feel the same way sometimes when i'm reading the forums.  It's getting to the point that i don't even want to sign in and post anymore.

We are seeing alot of new faces around here and i agree with Darth that maybe we are going through some Growing Pains.  But do we need members here (new and old) that spend all day on the forums and try to rack up their post count.

I used to post alot more than i do now, but i guess that's because i feel the forums don't have the same charm it did when i first signed up.  Maybe AGS is getting too popular?  :)

Sincerely Yours,

Shawn

It was indeed a tragic event that happened, but to see all Londoners getting back to their normal routines and act as nothing had happened was truly amazing.  You people are as tough as nails.

I was deeply saddened by this event, and hopefully the people responsible for it will eventually be caught.

Disco, is that old folding metal chair your computer chair?

I don't know how you could sit on that thing for long periods of time.

I sit on an old kitchen chair that is about to collapse, but at least it has some padding to sit on.  :)

Wow, $4000 a month seems like good money here in the U.S.  I make a little over $30,000 a year and bring home $1680 a month (420 a week) after taxes, and i consider that damn good for a single man like myself.

If you get a job making 4 grand a month, i'd move in a heartbeat.

Oh, i've never been to California, but someday i will get there.

Good Luck.
