General Discussion / Re:Sex and Dating.

I've heard from a lot of married couples, that once you get married, the sex stops. So might as well get it before you get married.

Once you say I Do, she says I Don't.

As much as i love today's high performace computers. There is one computer that will always have a special place in my heart.

The Tandy 1000.

That was an amazing machine for its time, and the first computer i ever used to write my own adventure games in BASIC.

I used to use an old program called Micro-Illustrator to draw my graphics in and then import them to BASIC, so i could use them in my games.

I'm thinking about looking on Ebay to find one of them.

Oh, how i miss it.  :(

E-Machines etower 500is

1) What processor do you use?
Intel Celeron 500 MHz

2) What graphics card do you use?
I believe an ATI Radion or something like that with only a whopping 4 MB's or memory.

3) How much RAM does your computer have?
Came with 32, upgraded to 96

4) What operating system do you use to play games?
Windows 98. But i don't play alot of games on my computer. I play most games on my consoles.

5) Do you think you are going to upgrade your system or buy a new one within the next two years?
Probably keep upgrading. No plans on buying a new computer any time soon.  I just put in a newer hard drive and a CD-RW drive.

6) (If upgrade) What part of your system do you plan to upgrade?
Probably more RAM. My computer can only go up to 256 MB, so i guess i'll bump it up to that.

Flippy, just do what's gonna make you Happy!! That's all that matters.

Shit, i'm 31 years old (been out of the house since i was 21) and make a decent living and i still have my dad jumping down my throat once in awhile.

But you know what, i do what i want to do. I live my life for me and noone else.  I mean i love my dad and all, but i will never live up to his expectations, and i never plan on doing it anytime soon.

I do what i want to do, when i want to do it. It may be harder if you're still living at home, but you are your own self, and do whats best for you.

Enjoy your life, because you don't get a second chance.

I wish you the best of luck my friend.

Hello Jazz and Welcome to the Forum.

I have DSL, so i will pretty much download any size file. But sometimes downloading huge files still take a while to download.

The largest file i've downloaded with DSL was a little over 100 MB.

This Photoshop Phtuesday hasn't gone anywhere, so i thought i would at least whip up something for it.

Here is Guybrush enjoying himself on a nice warm beach full of lovely ladies.  Too bad they buried him in sand.

I have to say that i really love this background.  To me, it has a wonderful personality.

It reminds me of Harvest Moon (a farming sim RPG thats been on the consoles)

Wonderful work Dart!!

I'm gonna whip out a word i don't use much, but here goes....CUTE

I believe he was a LucasArts employee at one time, but i'm not sure.

I like the cow, but this background needs a major overhaul. At its present state, it's not too good.

But with time & patience and the help of the critics lounge, we will make it great.

The cow looks larger than the tree, and the house is floating above the ground for some reason.

Put your computer in the car, and program on AGS while driving around. Then both of you win.  ;D

of course i'm kidding. But you'll probably have to just wait until he's about 1 or 2 before the crying stops.

I know, my sister has three small kids.

Critics' Lounge / Re:advice on docks
Sat 10/04/2004 01:41:54
It's a good start, but it really needs more detail.  I really like the cityscape in the background with the moon hovering above it.

But, the crates seem to be out of place, and the dock looks more like brick than wood.

Just some helpful hints. Other than that, i like it.
