my facial hair grows so quickly, but i cannot stand to shave and usually always wear a beard. When i do shave, people always say i have a baby face, and then i get proofed for alcohol and even cigarettes.  Even as much as i can't stand the scruff, i keep it.

That is some great stuff. While listening to it, i seem to be thinking of the Terminator. Very good, great beat.

this was a box set of all Kings Quest games plus a few extras that Sierra released a couple of years ago. I was wondering who else bought this collection. It is always great to go back and play KQ1 on a modern computer. I bought it back in 2000, and still enjoy every minute of it. Does anyone else here own this amazing collection?

I haven't yet made a game, but i am still working on my graphical style. I have been using PC Paintbrush in 320 x 200 resolution and have had really good results. I worked on 2 rooms yesterday and it took me about 12 hours total. Even though my graphics are kind of a mixture between Kings Quest 3 and Kings Quest IV, i think they look pretty good. I know there are way better paint programs out there, but PC Paintbrush works for me. Also, I have tried scanning my drawings in, but they never seem to work right.

Favorite Music of All Time:

Almost anything from the 1980's, i just love that stuff.

I really don't listen to alot of music, but here are some of my favorite artists and groups.

Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Journey, Jimmy Buffett, Chicago and too many more to mention.

Well, i have to vote for two.

1. Curse of Monkey Island, i felt this was an excellent game, plus it felt like an interactive cartoon.

2. Kings Quest V. I remember getting this game when CD-Roms were first being used on computers, and all I remember was my jaw dropping to the floor when i first played it.

Both of these games, i still go back and play, i think they are that good.

Probably anything Laura Bow says in the Dagger of Amon Ra. I tried out this game the other day, and laughed at everything she said, it was really bad.  I remember looking at a Taxi sign on the side of the road, and how she mentioned something about this is where you wait for a taxi. It was so bad, i deleted it from my computer. There were other things she says too, but i forgot.  ::)

What about KQ7? Seemed to die just as quickly

Curse of Monkey Island. The 2-D graphics are superb, the music is excellent, and just that feeling of really being there is what makes this game one of my favorites. I think the voice acting also is top-notch. I already beat this game awhile back but just started playing again for ideas for a game i would like to make.

my favorite is Kings Quest 4. The graphics were a welcome change at the time, and i just loved everything about it. I think the music was great too.

Just wanted to know who thinks Curse of Monkey Island is better than the so-called 3-D Escape from Monkey Island?
I think Curse is the better game, with way better graphics (in my opinion). ;)

I'll try them. I found a KQ7 midi file on my computer, and i can't use that as much as i love it. I will check those out.

i am new here, so please forgive if this is off topic. I am looking for a site that has a lot of free midi files i can use for a game i hope to one day start. I have some midi files, but they are all commercial and none i can use. I am still learning the basics of AGS, so please bare with me.
