Hahahaha. Ow, that was a good introduction haha.

I'll be in there for quite a while working on finishing up the The Art of Dying beta and relaxing.

Okay I have a Hearthstone beta key and since I got several games from other nice AGSers in this thread I decided to share it. Please PM me if you're interested! These things are still pretty damn rare afaik so please don't let it go to waste! :p

EDIT: And it's gone! Nobody here wanted it in ~24 hours so it went to a different community!

Adeel, I can enter for you, once again, if Peder doesn't mind?

I can enter for you if Peder thinks it's okay?

EDIT: Nevermind.

Thank you KodiakBehr and everybody else! Since we're already up to eight interested beta testers plus four 'friends and family' testers, and I think 12+ testers is really overkill and hard to handle and keep track of myself, I'm probably going to randomly invite a couple of people who signed up. More details when I'm closer to starting the actual beta test in a couple of days. I know this can result in some frustration for the interested people that don't get in but 1.) it's the only fair way to deal with the situation and 2.) it's hopefully not going to be a long beta test and you'll be playing the game very soon anyways!

In the meantime, please continue to sign up for the beta test with a post in this thread if you're interested in helping out!

Thanks for the interest, it's not too late to sign up for beta testing. I'm still working on the last couple of details of the beta build. Looks like it'll start later this week or on the weekend, depending on how much time I have. Thanks for the interest!

Thanks, no problem, arj0n. The beta test will start in a couple of days, you'll all be notified by PM.

Surplusguy, thanks! Bionic Commando had the claw thing instead I guess. Weird mechanic! ;p Are you interested in beta testing?
#169
Okay the closed beta test is going to take place in a matter of a couple days. Please let me know if you are interested in betatesting The Art of Dying by posting here! You will get one week to play and give me your feedback! In case a lot of people want in, I'm going to pick a couple of you randomly, we'll see. Please only sign up if you're interested in playing the game and giving me your feedback, both within the timeframe of one week. Thank you very much!

Sound just came back and scared the living shit out of me! :)
#171
Sound stopped a couple minutes ago.

Greetings!! :)

The stream is great, Mark! Works really well, sound is acceptable as well! Now I just wish I wasn't so busy with my damn studies and could've gone as well! :(
#173
There's a stream? I can't find a link on the last couple of pages or in the original topic!

EDIT: okay, it's on the website, found it.

EDIT2: also, how did you get banned from it, Peder? I don't even see a chat or anything? :p

PM sent!

That green sulking thing in the corner over there, that's a ghost full of envy.

Haha, I got really lucky. They had the GOTY edition marked as 92% off instead of 66% I believe - for about 2 minutes. I just barely got my order in!

I got Max Payne 3, Super Street Fighter IV, Dishonered with all DLC (pricing error, got it for 3 bucks!), Gunpoint, Rogue Legacy and Divekick this Autumn sale so far!

Awesome, Peder!

Stupot: I don't think it gets much easier (except for a build-in marketplace or something). When you go into the editor, make a level and save it, it writes out a file. So you go the directory where you're installed the game and under the levels folder, there's your level! So you take that, maybe put it in a zip-file with other levels you made, you upload them and post the link. That's it! Players then need to download your level and put it in their own levels subfolder in their game directory. Then they can start the game and load it up!
#178
I genuinely thought you were drunk when you suggested this competition haha. Never mind!

Anyways...

(I'm actually pretty sure you don't wear glasses but it looked funnier this way - but short dark hair and beard, that's what I'm going for).
#179
Haha, well a quick google query tells me that they do have USB adapters for those - so the game would totally support it!

Update time: today I finished the level design for 8 stages on paper! Now I need to put them in the game and make them look pretty with the editor (and draw a couple decorative assets) - then I'll do a quick beta test and then The Art of Dying is going to release! Yay! :p Btw, every new stage will be unique and feature at least one new type of enemy and/or gameplay mechanic! It won't take long to beat the 8 levels, especially if you're good at the game and don't die too many times (which will be very hard however) - but that's where the editor and YOU come in! :)
