Thank you.

That flipping when you come closer ( then the z- or depth-axis is negative ) is a logical mistake, I'll fix it...

Collision detection as well as rotation are definately going to be pretty tricky task. I'll see what I can do.

Oh, and using this for a car race simulation would work just perfect, I just tried it out for the fun of it...

Here is a demo/preview. It is just a sample, it is not yet the module.

Wait, I am just adding some more stuff. I will show you guys the demo and then - like mentioned before - I will release it as SCRIPT MODULE, so you can even use it in your games!

There's no such feature in AGS. Sorry.

But flat shaded looks pretty cool! I'll show some screens in a minute.

Hmm... That's possible. It's like flat shaded... I'll give it a try rightaway.

No.

Textures are simply not possible. The only thing is I can change the wireframe color.

But you can make a creative 3D-game with wireframed mode...  :=

Well, it's fun... It's nothing serious, but - honestly - you can make any non-adventure game better in directX or openGL than in AGS, but still people do it...

It's more to show off what a man you really are, I guess.  :=

Hello everybody,

while working on several other projects, I recently started playing around with AGS and 3D...

Let's make it short:

Here are probably the first cubes that AGS ever rendered:

THE NEWEST SCREENSHOT FROM THE NEW VERSION:

I will continue working on this thing in my spare free-time and then publish it as a script module for AGS 2.7...

It's great fun to move around those cubes in real-time.....

I will probably also add a sample game or something...

Now the first AGS DOOM clone can come...

Did some crappy stuff with mouse and in like 5 minutes.

Kinda liked it though, nice idea. Just need layers.. ^^

That's pretty good for a first attempt.

What you should check is:

- Correct a perspective issue in the door frame.
- Get rid of the double pixels on the side wall outlines.
- Either make the outlines a darker shade of the neighbor color or get rid of them completely.
- Maybe redo that drawer on the left, it is ok, but I never seen something like this before in my life, I don't know about you. The design looks rather unrealistic to me.
- Also make the side walls a little darker than the back wall.
- Add shading and detail.

What's the deal with salt? Never heard of that one before...

Maybe it does not exist here where I live...

What I know is...

- The day Friday, 13th...
- Don't go underneath a ladder that leans to a wall...
- Don't look at a black cat that crosses your way from the right (I think)...
- Don't break any mirrors...

Is there anything else or is anything different in the region you live... That's interesting, I think, although I really don't believe in it...

Does this help?

It's not perfect in perspective (i just drew it in two minutes) but it should get you started/remind you on how to do perspective.

Hope I didn't misunderstand you...

Ehm... You are right - this is not the right forum.
What exactly do you want from us? Music? Use the search function?

This might not be the right forum or whatever.. bla bla..  :)
There is a reason why these forums are divided into several different areas...
#1998
That is not possible.

In the AGS Editor you'd have to create a script after fade in of your first room, then add a script there and use the "PlayVideo ( string filename );" command. More of that command is in the help file ( Press F1 )...
#1999
QuoteUh oh, there he goes again. Why can't you just make a normal adventure game?

:) I started thinking about it (just for fun) maybe I'll release a very basic demo soon...  ;D

Wrong forum, but check the sound options in the winsetup.exe...
