First off -> sorry for my late reply but I was 'busy' at the weekend...

So... This character is not used in any game at the moment.. It has just been an exercise for me to gain experience.

For me it looks like a 45 years old, little weird, freaky either prof or farmer, which is living alone and some kind of anti-hero...

Thank you for all the c&c!

I am using Adobe Photoshop 5 to draw the outlines from the scanned drawing, to add the colors and to  shade. Then I normally switch to MSPaint to improve and "debug" the picture. Then I switch to Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 to use the GIF-Exporter...

Actually this image is not for a game... I did it to gain some experience only.... but maybe i'll use it later!

here we go... This picture took me about one hour to draw, colour and shade... What do you think of it?

The first one is 100x105 GIF and the second one is just resized to 200x210 for you to have a better view!

not bad but forget to have punk-rock midis for your game... i listen to it too and i make midis (also punk.rock-midis ^^) but they dont fit to adventure games normally...

I will reduce that filter but wont get rid of him because thats finally what makes the style of that pic. without it it looks like a hl-screenshot...

yeah. the character will be with really much less filter and items with even less :) i think!

I made it with the half-life engine and some kinda photoshop filters.

Yeah!

But I sometimes think, that this -1 thingie is a little weird and so.

And I wanted to show how to add a "StopFollowingCharacter function"!


I use these in my games because I don't like these "FollowCharacter (EGO, -1);" functions!

HEY! Let him!

OK, I knew this also before, but there might be any guys out there, which never heard of it! Why don't present them a great lucas arts game? It's one of the best LA-Games, I think, by the way!
