Maybe we could fill baskets with eggs and AGS games, and let our loved ones search for them.  That would be fun.

An easter egg hunt would be excellent! I found one in KQ2VGA+! It's the Madness of King Graham!

Maybe I shouldn't attempt humour when it's this late at night- or early in the morning as the case may be.

That was actually from a Photoshop Phriday a long time ago. I think the challenge was to AGSify classic art.

Okay, I feel really stupid but I don't see anything wrong with this. Then again, I'm horrible with lighting. What should the artist have done instead?

Anarcho: They did indeed! Sisko, Dax, O'Brien and Worf went back to the time of the original series (specifically the "Trouble with Tribbles" episode), which involved Klingons without the forehead ridges. I think O'Brien says "Those are Klingons?" to which Worf replies "We do not talk about it with outsiders" or something like that.

I don't even particularly like Enterprise (Archer and the head engineer whose name I can't remember really annoyed me) but I HAVE to see these episodes. Thanks for posting about them, Terran!

Redwall, that is FANTASTIC. Especially the bits about the Dooms and the three Quakes.  It is super-dooper.

Underdogs has freeware or abandonware titles, but their description of abandonware is much stricter than some other sites.

The New Order of Druids in California is similar to that. There was a university there  that required everyone to go to religious services on Sundays, so a bunch of students and profs got together under a nearby oak tree, drank whiskey, read poems and said they were Druids.

Personally, I can think of worse ways to spend my Sundays.

Before I go on stage, I usually get quite antsy. I have to move as much as possible, or else I actually start shaking. I end up going off by myself somewhere and flailing about, or if I have music, I'll dance.  If I don't get that chance to move around, I end up crying. I can't help it.

I don't usually get nervous before exams or anything else, though. Just performing. And I want to be an actor? Sometimes my brain confuses me.

I shall guess it was from Cuba.

But, you know, that's just a guess.

Oh, and by the by, I got a hair cut.

My "How to play AGS games document."
By Me.
*AHEM!*

If it uses a "Sierra" interface, play it like a Sierra game
If it uses a "SCUMM" interface, play it like a SCUMM game
If it uses a "Verb Coin" interface, play it like Curse of Monkey Island
If it uses any thing else, you're on your own.

Really, this is kind of pointless. The great thing about AGS is that you can have any sort of GUI that you want. Grr! Bearly Sane has the blood presure monitor.  Maniac Mansion Deluxe has switchable characters. Rode Quest has a parser.  There is no one AGS style.

Make your own GUI. Then there will be greatness and rejoicing.

Okay... I got no cutscene. The castle shakes, Black cauldron is destroyed, I get a message saying I grab onto a piece of wood and hold on for dear life, then I'm at the  end of the river and I can do whatever I want.  I'm VERY confused!

That's a psychotic flash you have there

I know! Isn't it AWESOME? And there are so many more where that came from, mwahaha.

Awww... Santa says goodbye

Honestly, I've been wanting to use that for WEEKS.

Pod: Speaking from a purely pendantic standpoint, that wouldn't make much sense. Why would you build a tower in a valley? Isn't the point of building a tower to get as high up as possible?

I was being silly, Anym.   :-*

Maybe the real answer is that people don't usually play games to look at the male characters, though sexy women have been an attraction to computer games for almost as long as breasts were part of the graphics- longer if you count Soft Porn Adventure, which was text based.

My middle name is Elizabeth.

I fondly remember when I was about 10 years old my parents argueing about who I was named after. It was either the Queen of England, my Dad's grandmother, my Mom's aunt or it just sounded good. How there could be four points of view when I only have two parents I can never exactly remember.

Also, this thread might be considered a bit discriminating. >:( Where's the equivalent thread about adventure hunks? (Not that I'd care.)

Well, adventure ladies include Laura Bow, April Ryan, Grace Nakimura, the Leisure Suit Larry girls, Razor, Elaine Marley and on and on.

Adventure men, on the other hand, include Hoagie and Larry Laffer.

Does that answer your question?

It took me a bit to figure out what was bugging me about this, but I figured it out. Your horizon line is REALLY high.

Based on the perspective from the path, the horizon should be here:

Also, the perspective on the flowerbeds is a little off. The stairs, on the other hand, are gorgeous.

You've done absolutely amazing work on that sprite.

But... um, it doesn't really look like a nun. That dress is REALLY form fitting, and the idea of a sexy nun just makes my brain hurt.

I did a little paint over- hope you don't mind.

Basically, all I did was add a scapular, which is a long piece of cloth with a hole cut in it for the head. It sits under the collar wimple and hangs to about ankle length in front and behind. Most nuns I've seen walk with their hands folded underneath.  This makes animation bit easier, because you don't need to animate swinging arms.

I also added a rosary hanging from her waist.
