I'm pretty sure it's in the right place, MM. It's related to adventure, but there isn't enough here to actually start a GIP thread.

And Budsmoka: there are no stupid concepts, only poorly executed ones.

That would go really nicely on some sort of motivational poster.

Ding ding ding! Babar is a correct person!

You at least got error messages! I just ended up having the Hero stuck in and endless loop of backflipping- even if he didn't have acrobatics, he'd suddenly do backflips!

Edit: And, just so that this isn't a completely off topic post...

It's daytime! Hooray!

Brothers and sisters I have none,
Yet that man's father is my father's son.

Ummm... sex. Because if you don't have sex, then the STD isn't an STD, is it? It's a something else TD

Oh, and the chicken came before the egg. So says my dictionary. (C comes before E... get it? GET IT?!?!?!)

I think I got a little carried away.

If you saw it before, it was maybe two paragraphs.

Now, It's got about five different sections, not to mention subsections and links and references and a picture.

I make my brain hurt.

Edit: Oh yeah, and if someone could fix up the section about MAGS games, that would be appreciated. I really haven't played many so I didn't know which to put up as examples.

I think I remember someone posting about this quite a while ago. I think I'll take a stab at editing it, if no one else minds.

SSH: Hee hee.. you're thinking too hard.  No one said it had to be a cypher.

MillsJRoss: It isn't just you. I can't even SEE 3D images, because I'm very very minutely wall-eyed. They just look like doubled images to me. Trying to see anything gives me absolutely horrendous headaches.

I remember meeting you
On a bright September day
We danced the night away
I would give anything to be there
With you
Everything is there
With you

Booyah! And I didn't use "under!"

That is a question that has NOTHING to do with the new year, and I am therefore confused.

Happy New Year to all, and to all a goodnight.

I've been posting since... holy crap. Yesterday was my two year aniversary of being registered. I actually thought I'd been around longer!

Edit: I was right- I HAVE been around longer. I somehow got confused between "December" and  "January."  I'll have been here three years at the end of January.

Ew... three years and I still haven't made a proper game.

My sister got the most loved present of 2004.  I ordered a book online for her from Chapters (enormous Canadian bookstore) but even though I paid for fast shipping, it didn't arrive in time for Christmas. So I took a bunch of pictures of myself making faces and made a sort of comic strip where I explained that "The Magical Wish Fairy" was a big slowby and that she should continue with "any joy she had scheduled."

What makes it DOUBLY funny is that's what my Mom got for her birthday as well. Groan.

I'm really worried because the books I ordered for my sister haven't arrived yet.  If I don't get them soon she will have won Christmas for two years in a row! Here's hoping they arrive in the next few hours.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

I quite like the sprites- you have excellent pixel skills, George! That skeleton rocks my socks.

However, there were a couple of points on the seceratary that I had trouble with. Mine's on the left, yours is on the right

1. Anti-grav boobs might be cool, but they honestly look painful. Someone could lose an eye on one of those  :o  On the profile view, I moved the chest in by one pixel, and added an extra pixel just below the breast.  This gives a bit of a smoother line, more like what would be seen on a tailored women's blazer.

2. The shoulders and arms were at a very strange angle. The arms should hang straight down, rather than being held slightly away from the sides.  This wasn't possible in your original drawing, which I shall elaborate on in point 4. To fix this, I widened her shoulders a bit, and narrowed the behind- but as I said, more on that in point four.

3. This lady has very little waist. There is no curve to the spine on the side views, and the front and back views are very straight and square in this area.  I put a bit of an indent at the small of the back on the side view, but the main change was created by step 4.

4. This was the main problem area. This lady has a HUGE bottom.  It didn't really match the fact that she is otherwise very skinny and her clothes are quite tight. On the side view, I raised the curve by several pixels- she's got a bit of a curve to her, but it seems to match the rest of her physique a bit better. On the rear view (no pun intended... oh who am I kidding? I SO did that on purpose) I got rid of the curve all together. Having even a pixel of curve looked really silly. If I could add a half pixel, that would be about right. But that isn't possible, so  the back remains curveless. Besides, a straight skirt would hang down directly from the hips, so it's all good.

Yes, I'm being picky, but your drawings are good enough that there's only picky stuff left to fix. You get a gold star.

Yeah, I know I said that I was going to hold off until the new year- I didn't plan on being so BORED at my parent's house (I have no computer of my own here for two weeks... send help)

So, it's puzzle time time!

Rules: Every week a post will be made with a list of items and a scenario. Using your wit, skill and lack of mental health; find a way to complete the scenario with the items provided. You can only use a set number of items of your own choice. When I say use your skill, use it.

For example: you have a boulder and a reinforced window. I advise not using Pick Up boulder chuck through window. Think of something adventuresque to use.

Voting: After the week voting shall commence!

What If I win?: The winner chooses the next scenario and list of items.

Scenario:

Have you ever heard little kids ask how Santa is able to get down a chimney without getting stuck?  Well, the problem is, he doesn't ALWAYS make it.

Santa's stuck in your chimney.  Get him out before sunrise or Christmas is ruined!

I'm so incredibly bored I drew a picture.

Items:
Santa
Milk
Cookies
plate
table cloth
Christmas tree
Ornaments
Christmas star
Electric Christmas lights
A potted pointsetta
Christmas cards
4 stockings
Fireplace tools (shovel, poker and whisk)
Box of oversized fireplace matches
4 oranges (if I get an orange in my stocking, so will all of you!)
logs
3 Christmas presents containing whatever you want (also known as three inventory items of your choice)

Happy Puzzling to all, and to all a good night.
