This kid could be the new Ghyslain...

Oh, dear. What was this guy thinking? It wasn't too bad, but then he started dancing... so wrong... so very wrong...

I think the problem with the back is that the spine is so dark- it looks like he's had spinal surgery and there was a horrible scar.  You could try lightening that a little, and maybe making it a bit thinner and not going down his whole back.

Editification!

Changed the black background and got rid of the skeleton.

I tried to smooth out the lines, I didn't seem to have much luck with it. Also gave her hips, shortened her arms, lowered the shoulders and tried to fix the weird arm swinging.

You can have my snow, Eigen. It's been coming down all day in big fluffy "is that a snowflake or a small kitten" sized flakes.

Truth is, I don't mind snow. Snow is pretty. It is useful for making sculptures, and makes excellent balistic weapons and defensive barriers.  The problem, though, is that it is wet and cold! YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY!!! I can't STAND being wet and cold.

This isn't my first attempt at a walk cycle, but it's the first I'm willing to show anyone

Things that I know need to be fixed-

-black background+black boots=bad idea
-you can see the "skeleton" I drew over poking out occasionally

Any C+C would be greatly appreciated

Ooo... this was tricky.  I really enjoyed ScottDoom's and Mr_Frisby's, but the award goes to... Ben with Mr. T!

I love it when a plan comes together!

I was, however, very tempted to not have Mr. T win, just so that Interference would have to eat his desk.

Just my opinion, but I think the walls should be darker.  I've yet to see a bar with light coloured walls.

Also, extra stuff to add!

Liquor bottles on the wall behind the bar
Photos and souvenir type things on the walls (famous AGS characters?)
Tables, chairs, stools

Though this is still late, I shall unleash the awesome power of my best birthday song:

It's your birthday today, yes it is!
YES IT IS!
It's your birthday today, yes it is!
YES IT IS!
It's your birthday today
It's your birthday today
It's your birthday today, yes it is!
YES IT IS!

Wait a minute... no it isn't! Crud, now I need a different song.

This is what I have learned about PUMAMAN!:

Pumaman, as the name implies, is blessed with all the wondrous powers of a puma, which include:

1. The power of flight.
2. The power to tear steel and crumble bricks with your bare hands.
3. The power to teleport (I have a great story about this puma that teleported into my grandmother’s bathroom in Wyoming, but for the sake of brevity, I’ll refrain).
4. The power to see in the dark.
5. The power to punch guys really hard (my grandma was punched by said puma, but again, we should probably skip it).

Wow! Skip calling CJ Jesus Chris, being Pumaman is MUCH cooler!

ALL threads are I love Eric threads. I thought you'd have realized that by now!

p.s. That's his 1337th post Evan posted, yes?

Oh, plastic vicar. For some odd ball reason I got "PD" mixed up with "PDA." Congradulations therefore go to 2ma2! No congadulations for Chrille at all.
#654
Cool! Congrats to Chrille, Fidodido, Lucasfan, Ratracer, Dave Gilbert x2 and Tierra x2!  Only three non-AGS games on the list... what does this tell you about the amazingness of AGS?

First ever... this is really hard. Not because I don't remember the games- which I do- it's just that I couldn't read at the time so I made up names. My parents thought this was adorable so they never used the real names either.  I think it was probably "Asteroids" for the Atari ST.  I called it "Crash Moons." You had to shoot at bright green asteroids to prevent them from hitting your triangle-ship.

First game on the PC was probably "Where in the World is Carment Sandiago." I never managed to catch her, because I never found any way to save.

My oldest computer is a Texas Instrument.

It had no mouse, but instead had two joysticks. The actual sticks were extremly flimsy, and ended up being replaced with pencils.

It had no monitor. Instead, we hooked it up to an old black and white TV. The TV was so old channels and volume were changed via a pair of knobs on the front of the set.

It had no memory.  It didn't even have a way to save information to an external source, such as a disk or a tape.

It had no disk drive.  It used cartridges such as were used for NES games.  Regretfully, the cartridge slot was also just the right size to take in a piece of bread.  This was discovered when my next door neighbour attempted this, THINKING IT WAS A TOASTER.

We still have it, and it does work.  The only problem is the aforementioned broken joysticks.

In honour of the fact that the ground (here at least) is covered in snow, I give you the sprite jam of making SNOW SCULPTURES! Snowmen, snow dogs, snow castles, snow bluecup (or would that be white cup?), anything at all.  But it has to look like snow!

Size restrictions: 20000 pixels square in any form you want- 200x100, 141x141.

Colour restrictions: 256 colours, including pure white.

Is this right? I've never hosted one of these before.
