If i can finish tapir's quest before... hmm... the 12th... i will enter this month.

If you want help with some concepts and graphics, i have a lot of experience making firearms for FPS games and i could create some believable equipment and such for you...

One problem i am having, is that i have a cutscene at the start of the game with dialogue,
and i need to know
1.how to set it up so that the player cant skip individual lines of text with mousebutton, because the music ties in with the dialogue and rushing the text puts it out of sync.
2.how to allow the player to press f7 to go straight to restore game from the cutscene, rather than f7 skipping text. If this can't be done i will just make a screen where you can choose new game or restore, and make the starting cutscene skippable with escape.

why would you want to remake a game with a theme you really wouldn't want to make as a game of your own?  That doesn't make sense.

The Tapir's Quest

The Story:
The Tapir was kidnapped by poachers, and sold to animal testing. You have to break out before the doctor covers you in lethal makeup!
This is a short game i am working on, with only a few rooms and characters. Just for fun.

I could do with some help thinking up neat puzzles to escape the lab. I have a really nice one to break out of the cage so far, but i need to think of puzzles to deal with the doctor and escape the building (preferrably via a window)
I want the game to focus on puzzles more than anything else, and decent graphics and animations.

cause im already making a couple and the theme of hugo isnt what i am really into for personal projects

ah well, disappointing. If anyone wants the room/sprite graphics, theyre welcome. i got walkcycles for penelope and quite a few of the hugo scenes (altered a little of course)

I meant what was the story with the removal of the game.
So i would run into troubles if i remade hugo 2? i might just do it for my personal enjoyment then...

I saw someone had made a remake of the first hugo game, and the original creator shut it down D:
I thought it'd be cool to remake the second in the series, i even made some graphics for it... But can someone tell me what the story is here?
