There it is. The paint over is crucial, cause that means we save a lot of time defining every single coordinate. Main part being the stage floor, the exit (right) and the podium, those kind of have to stick there, the rest is totally allowed to change. Anyhow, just draw something, and I'm sure arrangements can be made.

I'm gonna go guessing.

The viewport by default follows the PLAYER character.
Now, you have sprites that are 108px big, and the resolution is 320x200. Increasing the viewport which is what you think is doable, isn't. The best thing to do either move the characters a bit down or

Though, still your issue remains as we'll slowly obscure the characters in the bottom.

Fix what?
Is your room height bigger than your game's resolution? (Answer that first)
If it's a yes, then put this on room after fade in SetViewPort(character[your character].x,character[].y);
if not, take a screenshot for the love of god.

Check the height of the sprite of the character. If that's bigger than the height of the resolution, then the camera is fine. If the room is scrollable (vertically or horizontally), then the viewport (the camera) is facing the player who is probably on a lower part of the screen.

Right, so, we're planning on improving the same model used last year with certain stuff, so any suggestions and anyone willing to paint over the background we're using, would be nice.

Our first priority is to improve the speed as much as possible and increase stability to a maximum. But adding cool stuff isn't prohibited.


So please give out your suggestions on how to make this cooler and better.

This is what is in the manual, and you've copied verbatum, I'm just putting it here for comparison. So that's definitely not the case.

Have you activated both the plugin and imported the module? Perhaps you have forgot about importing the module.

You have a parsing error, if you could copy the room script file, I'd point it out. Also a small note, the game if ported to 3.x.x works only when run from the compiled folder, and not when you run it via the engine, or without debugger. I also believe it works till 3.0.

I kind of feel you, though I also lost my grandmother this morning. This being the last of my grandparents alive, I am officially 23 and have none, and all of them didn't get to have to grandchildren. Which is a saddening thought to me.

I personally hate funerals. They make me so numb. I just want them over and done. Anyhow, my condolences to your grandfather.
