I've abandoned MI: Day of The Dead. For now that is. The whole reason I started AGS was to make a good MI game. I made a MI game, a good game and I'm missing a good mi game.

I'm still keeping my ol' favorite copy-pasted from the book Towel entry. I want the GUIDE to be massive not just an in-game hint spoiler as used before. For example Vogsphere has nothing to do with the story of the game,but it's an entry.

You got unlucky...Merlin86. Fixed that thing Bic. In the following days a fixed version of somethings will come up. But don;t hold your breath since I'm too busy. Just play it and remember that my computer blow up and you still got it.

Gamma had this weird problem. That had to do with AGS 2.72. While I was making this GUI and adding oh so many buttons AGS was acting weird. I had trouble. A lot of it. That strange behaviour had nothing to do with the rest 3 sliders(the speech one) but bugged the hell out of the Gamma.  I even remade the GUI to fix it. Beta-Testing was a trouble to me. Really, like no other. Ask FSi, of our friend fatal.

Anyway, Gamma's off. I tried to keep it. But nothing. It just messed up for no particular reason. Tried to check why,but nothing was giving me the hint.

Kill me for digging this but it's very important if someone cares to use it for AGS 3.0

First if new-strings is set to true it means that you have to replace a lot of functions in the module. 780 lines is a lot..

Secondly when you add pages you have to make sure that the line of code isn;t bigger than 500.

Don;t do this:
Hypertext.Add("mypage","Get dead really
fast.");

Just make more pages and add more links.
Also the name of a page shouldn't contain any gaps for your personal convinience.You can;t link it like this _my page|more_.
Also leave a gap before each _ and after one_
ex:
Get dead or what _my page_ .


If you don;t folllow my advice you'll get a message I got. AGS failed in drawing... and some stuff.

If you want it to change whilst speaking use the especially based on dialogs function ;run-script 1(or whatever number it is). If it;s still there for AGS 3.0 Haven;t got the time to script a dialog yet. ;D

Well, as far as I recall Magrathea entry on the book had a 65000 entry. Ok, we can't reach that amount. We can but you would need the really GUIDE to support it or whatever. But 48 entries including some of my ,Eccentrica Gallumbits and Oolon Colluphid (they;re written based on the book), I was thinking we could just add various funny stuff so that no one gets the chance to say, "They didn't use Hypertext Module the wrong way." And SSH it's pretty much the best module to use if you;re making HHGTG.

Do you think we should stick to typical sierra cycle modes control method or to the reactor 09 flipped(which means left click opens a two button gui, look and use responses and right click opens the Inventory GUI)?

My vote goes for the second whilst yukonhorror really wants the first one.
The first one includes more responses to everything if you search the game well, but more generic responses.
The second one means less actions but not a single generic response.

Good job, alkis. Read your interview in PCmaster and played the demo as well...
Looks like someone was working way hard and I think it's gonna pay off. i'm planning to buy this one.. Is there a deluxe version?

Chris one suggestion for the next version, it's not much that troubles me but it's the last thing that bother me in AGS, all sprites can be have their import resolution changed, which is way useful.. why can't background have so? Everytime I import a background I have to change to 320x200 then import and back to 640x480.
