Based on the thread they said it had to do with the priority of the process, If you go to task manager and right click "Yourgame.exe" you can change the priority.

I'm curious why you need more then 60fps?

You can if you want to... Though it has a really rough look you might want to use it as a reference and try doing the shadows again(Mine are exactly right either )

Ok so I was going through my emails and I had bought a extra humble bundle V key.

Now I'm almost positive that I never used it, If I check on steam to see if I used it and I didn't it will just waste it.

Progress Update:

Well I've been sick most the week, but If you look at the main post there is a new screen of a wip background of the Pripyat "Death Bridge".
I've also been spending alot of time with story stuff and reading up on story design in games.
I got a ton of help from RyanTimothy for making a new .think and .say function.
(Ignore the dialog )

I also worked a bit on the ui.

Umm... I just made 2 layers over his and took a default pixel brush and clicked around where the light would shine and then the other layer where it would get darker and set them to overlay(Prolly not the best option if your shading like this for a real background.)

Edit: oh and I forgot I added some shadows on the sprites too.

I'm not the best but I drew up a quick thing with the mouse.(I think I'm a bit closer to the shading, that said I'm prolly still quite a bit wrong.)

The main problem with yours was a few wierd things and the lighting is such that the light bulb would have been on the floor.

Well after looking at it, I still see problems with mine.

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.


No. I don't like shrimp that much. Just on occasional and usually just thawing the frozen kind and eating it like that with some dip. I think it's boiled before freezing, but I'm not sure.

I'd like to say a beef stir fry with veggies and a little rice. Delicious. Also pizza. Garlic bread. Caesar Salad. Mmmm

I got a buddy who grills Spicy Shrimp with bacon wrapped around it.... Very awesome.

Some Jerk Chicken and Spicy rice sounds good right now.

Looks better to me. Ill try and give you somemore suggestions tommorow.

Grateful your thoughts about this room.  I haven't quite decided what to do with that blank space on the right wall yet.

The room at least to me has to much white, I think you should add more texture and shadows to everything. (But this might not be the style your going for.)
The perspective on the right side of the room looks a bit wierd but I'm not very good with perspective and either way as long as the room looks good I don't consider it a big deal.

All in all though its looking really good.

I also think everything is a bit to dark. If shes not tan or darker then I'd say lighten it all up, if not then just her outfit.
