I personally think we should save in-game content for the higher reward tiers (not too high but just enough to incentivise fans to want to pledge a little more)

^Agree.

What if the museum was included in the credits of the game, At the end or whatever instead of having it scroll through the stuff they go through a developer thing and then supporters.
I normally leave the room or do something else while credits roll, That may keep them interested enough.

Thanks I'm super new to making any type of environment so its cool to hear good feedback.

1:423x200 for Dimitri's apartment. So it scrolls horizontally.
  320x 240x for Pripyat checkpoint.

2: I use Photoshop(CS5 atm) with the pen tool and a mouse, I sometimes break out the tablet to color bigger areas or for the carpet and lighting.
   I've been using it since I was about 14 so that's 6 years so I know it in and out and don't really feel the need to switch.

2.5: Dimitri is 34x60 Boris is a bit wider but since hes learned over his sprite is shorter, I use Photoshop for the animations. :P

3: Animation Tip: Set all your animation frames to 1 second, File>Export>Render Video>

It will save all the .pngs at once in order so you don't have to do it manually.

Edit: Heres a new picture of the restroom in the apartment, The doorway fades when you enter it. This will prolly be the last thing I post in here since everything else will be game related and I want that to be seen in the demo when ever I get that out.

An area you can access in game partway through, Then after finding in game in unlocks the ability to go to it through the menu?

I really (really) hate question marks in the answer. Admiral is correct, your turn.
Sorry! I won't do that again :)

Well, I never participated in this, so I'll just post some random weird pic. Don't know if this will be easy or difficult.

The big lebowski when he gets drugged at the guys house.

I always like the spell names from ff, Though I've only played 3,7,8,10.
I like the graphic for the spells not to much going on but not boring. Though I think the background should be lighter and the gradient you used for "Commands" goes a bit to dark, imo scale it back a bit.

@Anian

I haven't ever looked for a turn off aa option for brushes since there is the pencil tool, But stuff like fill and magic wand tool all have the aa option and the effects can be tweaked to look decent for pixel art.
The only thing I don't perfer photoshop that well for is animation.

The general idea of this is alot like what I'm working on, I could help with voice acting I think depending on what you needed.

Hmm. You could always just draw stuff less detailed. You have "MORE" to work with but you don't have to utilize it.
I love low res too though... Well if you do switch keep us updated on how the new ui is going :D

Nicky. Though it was hard because they were all awesome.

This is first time I've seen this thread, Awesome art looks fantastic!

@Vince

I found a few threads you did about user interfaces and such. You should really write up some more stuff about AGS/adventure games, I really enjoyed the stuff you wrote and considering your current/past games you obviously know what your doing.

Yeah, The suggestion was to remove the question mark and just add it into the settings menu so there would be space for your inventory.
Honestly though I like Darths version, I'd keep inventory in the center and then stick a back arrow unless you plan on having it slide out on mouse over.

Theres a module if I remember for making npcs cross rooms, Maybe you could check that code?
