Haha. You always want a bigger one though it seems big until you have it for awhile then it just seems normal.

I find 21/23 are the perfect screensize. :P

I prefer manual method but there is a few programs that have that automatically I think. (Photoshop is not one I don't think.)

I personally use photoshop cs4 but I heard there was some better programs for pixel art. ( I mainly stick with it because I've been using it since I was like 14.)

Yeah, Good tutorial and you can draw with a mouse to do that. (I have a tablet and still use a mouse for pixel stuff.)
I perfer drawing with a tablet over paper but I can do both. So to save money you can draw on paper till you get a bit better.

Just start off simple man, It shouldn't take to long to learn enough to do that. I'm not by any means a scripter/programmer but I haven't found anything to hard to figure myself for making my game.(Though I've messed with java/lua/c++ a bit.)

Craigslist, I'd go for a used wacom.

As for the pen the big deals are pressure levels 512 works good, Also some let you flip it and erase but thats not a big deal since its not for professional stuff.

Practice and you can use a mouse for pixel art but get a tablet, I have a 9x11 kanvus tablet it works great. Wacom is way better but its cost 2 to 3 times as much.

Well... Download ags and setup a level. Start with the core things needed for a fighting game. Though your gonna need to know how to code.
If you don't I'd suggest reading up on it and starting with a simple adventure game.

I'd check the coding section or the wiki or search the forums.

As for coding a fighting game? Umm if you can code it I don't think you would have to ask. You might wanna try to find a engine made for that if your just starting out, If not there is a few fighting games around here maybe you can get there code.

Edit:I am using the rain plugin with a 4 pixel sprite, The resolution is 320x 200x.
I'll check out using AF or particle illusions (Never heard/used before), I want the rain to look the best it can.
The other light is coming from a doorway (Bathroom)and if the door is open completely and the lights on the back wall (Same wall as the front door) I think the light would look almost like that? But I think I made it about foot or so to wide.


Edit: I edited it a bit and stuck in the new dimitri animations, Also made a first version front/back view sprite

Yeah I had noticed the shadow for the window looking wierd I'll fix when I get back in town this monday. The animation looks nice thanks for the help I added the step up and step down with my other dimitri animation, Thank you! You should write a tutorial tip list thing your sprites are pretty pro. /bows
