Well if your new to tablet drawing. (I prefer over paper now.)

First thing is.

PRACTICE
No amount of books or classes will do imo what practice does.

Start simple, Learn about shading/perspective/form/composition ect. Develop the artist eye, look at things everyday notice how light affects stuff/shape/color and do it even when your not drawing. Then put it into practice draw a a light source a few cubes and some shapes, Move on to harder shapes,color and perspective.
I know a guy who was drawing just above stick figures and he practiced hard and was up to my skill level if not past it.

Also judging by the lines you used a default photoshop brush? Maybe not I don't know the other programs either if your using that and have any questions I've been using it for 6+ years.

What he said is 100% correct, The idea for the lighted circuit for the selection is a awesome idea to add details without removing functionality.

Looks cool but it kinda looses the layered bulk look.

Though I modded the sprite to remove a 1px line off his chest loosing a kinda of fat look but keeping the jacket look.

As for the legs one of the lines is a shadow on his leg. Also I'll see if the contrast change looks good on the sprite, thanks for taking the time.

Details:
Based in Pripyat[imgzoom][/imgzoom],Ukraine. In the early 90s.
I'm in the early stages of setting up a story wanting to focus on a main protagonist, With small but diverse range of supporting characters that range from a little girl to a first responder to the reactor.
I'm going for a dark moody feel with a serious overtone. I'm just one guy in college with quite a bit of free time. Atm(Though only decent at art.) I'm doing the scripting,writing(Help from LTGiants2000),art and my very good musical friend is doing sounds/music. At least 3 months for Art, I'm making it to the best of my ability and the best I can find/do myself to keep that quality throughout sound,graphics,puzzles,gameplay and story.

I think I might rather play this game with the way the forums put it.

When I test the game my charaters feet or the bottom of the sprite is cut off 1 pixel its driving me nuts and I can't think why? I've tried messing with image type and alpha and import nothing fixes it.

Haha. Got me to laugh out loud.

You can set it for whatever.

The tutorial/help built into ags is invaluable.

You'll be fine just give it a few trys and don't look up everything try to figure some of it out I think it helps learning.
