heheh, I don't know if it'll count cause I've had a couple design sketches laying around for a bit that could easily fit this theme.  Though I did just now sprite it.  Old sketch, new sprite?

This is my Devimp for a fantasy scenario that I have laying around.  It's a demonic breed of the Impish race. This breed uses summon craft wings that are disembodied from their bodies and they have a penchant for human hearts.  While the Devimps can be visceral, they are fairly weak minded despite having the capability for shadowcraft.  Any Spellcrafter with half a skill and the dark will to do so can easily subjugate these creatures.

Everything looks to be awesome.... but those Neon eyes are freaking me out....

It sure was a tough one, but in the end, I think the win has to go to....

Misj'

Seems like you must've played the right notes because something about your entry just made me smile.

I was hoping to see and anthro-to-human conversion from someone too but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Thank you to everyone who entered =).

Great entries so far!  I'm also glass to see the bonus criteria's (while not required by any means) meaning wasn't lost in explanation =)

one more day folks =)

I'd say turning a hyperkinetic rabbity thing into a hyperkinetic humany thing  is well within the rules (it is the vice versa part after all)  I actually did have Max as an example too, but i took it down to not detour anyone from doing him.

*Goober is a Smucker's product that has peanut butter and jelly together in a single jar (in case you never heard of it).

Anthropomorphic Mix-up

For those that are not fimiliar with the term Antrohopomorph--or "anthro" for short--it's
a term more often then not given to an animal--or non-human to be percise--character that
feature human characteristics.  Bugs Bunny, and other classic looney tunes characters, are
antrhopomorphs. The same with many of the classic Disney characters as well. Even adventure
games have their token anthropomorphic characters with Steve Purcell's Sam and Max.

I was gonna keep this to adventure game characters, but opening it up to all game characters may bring more entries.

The objective is to change *any* human video game character into an anthro character, or vice-versa (i.e., Antro to human).
An example of this (albeit maybe a poor one) would be to make Ben ( of Full Throttle) into an anthropomorphic skunk (polecat).

Rules/Guidelines

-Hi-res, Lo res, it doesn't matter.
If Low res, no bigger then 80pxls either dimention.
If Hi-res, no bigger then 250pxls either dimention.
-No color limits on either, but plese be within reason.
-The character should still be reconizible as that character to some degree.

*bonus* if the change in that character not only still resembles the character, but plays on something about that character (See Ben example above for a loose interpertation)

Hope this is an interesting enough topic...
And I gave a couple extra days so account for geting this going so late today.

A win by rando-gen, hahah, ok =).

Thank you, and great entries everyone =)  Now to come up with a good topic....

It's Crikey Cricket. Poor guy, no matter how hard he tries, nothing ever seems to go his way.  Not even his spiffy suit and tie helps.

10 colors + trannsparency

And cause i was bored further, i did up a higher res one, and because i couldn't sprite some little things (like the coattails)

6 colors + transparency, not counting shading.

It's a chibi-fied Prince.

Ouch! (*deletes work in progress that was exactly the same idea*  :P )

Heheh, yours would probably be way better then mine though.

here's my attempt:

Once again dynamic shading escapes me.  I tried to do i nice reddish-blue glow on the tree but i couldn't just get it, so once again a boring,  flat-colored sprite.

I think I'm almost done, but...
Spoiler

I think I have all 6 Atapi enchantments: burning cattail, stick, metal bowl & water in bowl, dirt, and air (since it said it's in your lungs I think I'm correct by assuming the gift not having a representative inventory item); but I can't seem to find any clues on what do do next... other then to find the "big water atapi," which I i can't seem to get any more clues on...hrmm

is there any stop firefox3 from blurring up-scaled images yet?

I did the following drawing back in march, but tucked it aside cause i got frustrated with getting "sausage fingers" whenever I try to get the hand placement on the hat brim.  I recently pulled it out again to try it again but i still couldn't get it right.  I'm thinking i may just have the arm angled wrong which could be throwing my positioning off.

can anyone point me in the right direction to finishing  this?

I'm trying to get it where the arm's extended out and brought back where the thumb and middle finger have a pinch hold on the brim with the remaining fingers extended in kind of a psychotically elegant type of manner. but as i said, i can't quite get it to look right.

here's what i did as a (very) rough draft of the pose. [sketch]. I've since changed some of the composition to what I'm trying to achieve above, but the initial stance it the same...

It's Scooby Doo Classic Creep Capers for Game Boy Color, .

I was in 7-11 today to pick up a slurpee and another transformers movie cup with character straw (hokey, but it get's my geek on so whatever lol), and I was browsing the periodicals for a new gaming magizine since I hadn't bought one in a while.  I saw that PC gamer had a "Big Book of Free" issue where it lists 365 free games of multiple genrés.

Long story short:  I saw a good few AGS games that I reconized, so I'm sharing =).

*A note:  Since I'm on my grandfather's computer, there's no editing software on here, so I am unsure of the actual size of these, and since the scan program was very basic, i couldnt even get a good center on a few scans.

They aren't ranked. the numbers are just where they are on the list.  I also saw a few other adventure titles (3d and 2d) but i didnt reconize any of the other 2d adventures to be ags, though some of them sound neat.
