Lately I've been buying a lot of games and feeling really dumb because I'm ignoring equally good freeware ones. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
But yeeeeah, like people say, it's just because an effort was made to make me know about them.

Something that worked a bit like a wiki would be awesome. I'd like to make a list of, say, inventory items and then have my notes about a puzzle automatically put a link to that item's page in when I type it's name.
Then a list at the bottom of that puzzles page would appear saying ITEMS USED: A CRUSTY BUM and the item's page would get a USED IN QUEST: A CRUSTY BUM FOR RUSTY MUM and yeeeeah. It would be a good way of keeping track of stuff

I'm hoping Jane's one is going to pick up now they've pinned down an actual GAME to say they're making. This business of pitching it as a company start-up is messy and overly complicated and it's hurt them a lot.
I really want to play the new game though :'( Please pledge, folks...

lol...Why am I not surprised.  It's a shame because these higher profile (or celebrity) developers are going to put a strain on kickstarter for start-ups (imo).

No way, it's helping them out. A lot of small games by unknowns on Kickstarter are getting funded by people who only have accounts because Doublefine got them there. I heard that. From the FACT GOD.

Why don't you autosave every turn during battles but not let them start from that point once they die? Then you get the tense feeling of living with fatal choices you want and you don't screw people over who need to turn off their computers to get to work on time.
