Well...I have no intention of getting tatoos.

I mean, it's not that it wouldn't be sort of spiffy to have a freaky lil' design on your arm.

But there's just SOMTHING about the idea of having ink pushed into my flesh by hundreds of tiny needles that puts me off.

After having a go at tracing it myself I think i have determined the source of your problem.

I think it's your shyness to draw small details, try a more detailed trace. And simplify it from there.

I'd say. Trace some lineart in a new layer. Delete the bottom layer. Fill in the lineart and then edit it using the photo only as a reference fro that point on...

But that's probably what you've been doing...

I'd work on a low-profit game for a free copy.  

I like the colouring style ALOT.

$15 dollars sounds reasonable enough to me for a decent-lengthed, non-buggy, well-designed game.
Just don't get too caught up in the "I'M GOING TO BE RICH!!" thing...at most, you'll probably be able to make back the money you spent on distributing the thing in the first place and maybe a few pounds extra for your cylindrical slavedrivers.

Oh yes. and there's also Reality-on-the-Norm where can download all the .cha files of RON characters.

Don't use these sprites directly in a game that isn't about the actual CHARACTER, though. Just draw over the animations.
