I recently downloaded Duke Nukem 3D.

Lemmee tell ya'. It is a RELIEF to play somthing without a many-layererd storyline.

I honestly think a little more action games should concentrate on making games fun rather than trying to come up with a logical explanation for everything...

Now don't get me wrong. Storylines in action games CAN work...but mostly they just slow it down.

Metal Gear Solid had a great storyline, great atmosphere but it was still just a game. It was fun, there are weapons scattered about in random places, Snake can fit into a cardboard box but when you're playing it you just don't CARE.

So...in my humble opinion...A game is a game, a brief escape from reality and if they take themselves too seriously it can destroy teh magick!

It's cool. But the puzles are illogocal and stoopid.

I like the preist...he is spooky but the starbucks guy seems a bit wobbly when compared...

Well...I only played the demo (Shut up! I'm poor!) but I didn't particuarly like the voice acting, it could have been a little more melodramtic to match the cheesy, cartoon style of the game.

But that's still no reason to give the game such a low score, to give it less than three sort of gives a negative impression while I'm certain that Fatman is not a 'bad' game.

I really should buy it..

Those pictures are nicely composed. You have a sort of 'minmalist' thing going on so i think you should build on that.
One way to do this would be to use as much black as you can and get rid of the gradients. The 'sodt' backgrounds contrasted with the harsh black shadows should be spooky..
But what do I know?
Go with your gut instinct!

Although that will probably be keyboard controlled.
