This one?

Sounds awesome, don't it?!
#462
I think it's worth considering a new Monthly Mock-Up contest for these things because they are super fun.
I'll try and enter this one
#463
Huuuh, I visited it's page and it sound good but... it's also been discontinued and the version I downloaded needs a registration thing so...uh... fuurghh...
And I can't afford photoshop.
So feature still needed!
#464
Sounds like a great idea.

There's a feature I've been wanting in a decent paint program for ages; the ability to shift the whole image in a direction and have the pixels you moved off the page appear on the other side; really useful for making seamless tiles.
I believe the only program I've seen to have it is the built in RPG Toolkit tile editor and in other respects it's quite an unusable program.

Not a strict adventure game but I've always found Jade from Beyond Good and Evil pretty crushworthy. Freud would probably say it's her motherly element, I think it's her haircut.

Plus she's French... uhh... sort of. Planet Hillys is NEAR France right?

There's also something about Morgan LeFlay that I found very attractive... extreme professional competence mixed with an emotional vulnerability, I think that's a winning formula. I also think Nikki Rapp's voice is adorable which made things pretty awkward when she played the boy emperor in the next Sam and Max season...  :-\

EDIT

Well, seeing as how I already ran this thread into the ground with my creepiness I may as well go for broke and kill it off entirely...

TWO LOVE POEMS ABOUT FALLOUT 3 CHARACTERS THAT ALMOST, ALMOST MAKE ME WISH THE GAME HAD ROMANCE OPTIONS

You've used me and abused me
More than once you've bruised me
I'm battered and my limbs are shot to hell
Infiltrated Mirelurk lairs
And you barely seemed to care
Just questioned me if they were doing well

Your voice it is annoying
And your attitude is cloying
When you manipulate me time and time again
Your poor grip on reality
Will soon cause my fatality
But as I weep and grumble and complain...

I feel your layers of insanity
Reveal a vulnerability
And I find my feelings for you quite concerning
And though I'd love to go
In my heart I just know
It's more than just XP points that keep me returning

Willow the ghoul
You're too cool for school
Calls me 'tourist' with raspy inflection
Your flesh it may rot
But I still have the hots
For you (despite your infection)

Well, since the mystery of the leak is solved now (the insidious bastards were using SHOPS) can we change the topic of this thread to "Hey, German people. Is Gray Matter any good?"

I LOVE Horror Ex-Oh... Snakje beat me to saying it.

I love it too; it has that quintessential Christopher Lee / Peter Cushing double act that I always draw from when doing my old horror movie impressions (I am the life and soul of all parties) and the plot's this wonderful combination of Lovecraftian Sci-Fi and tongue-in-cheek monster movie. Y'all should see it.

I stayed at my Girlfriend's over Halloween and here is what we watched over those few days:

MY CHOICES:

House By The Cemetery - Third time seeing it for me, Hannah's first. It's that Freudstein house!

Dark Tales Of Japan - I love horror anthologies and this Japanese TV movie was great entertainment. My favourite story was the first one: The Spider Woman, it's about a spider woman.

HANNAH'S CHOICES:

Pontypool - Claustrophobic, high-concept outbreak movie from Canada

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 - Everything people complain about being in sequels, done on purpose... and done brilliantly.

JUST HAPPENED TO BE ON TV:

Psychoville Halloween - Impressive old school horror anthology (whoo). Would have preferred original stories rather than spoofs of pre-existing ones but it was all super well done and made good use of the characters in that Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror way. Ayup.

Stigmata - Is this a horror movie? I find anything with Catholics scary. Good movie!

We also listened to the Suspiria soundtrack and watched The Little Mermaid at some point... possibly at the same time. Good fuuuuun.

And now I want all of these games to be made

Aaahhhhohmygod. I looked so hard for a Bioshock art book but I foolishly only looked in book shops.

I want this Sierra thing too, anything to encourage more of this sort of thing.

NEXT: Shiver me timbers!

You set the best Sprite Jam topics, Progz. That's why I'm happy you win every third one.

EDIT:

Explanations and such: The movie's House By The Cemetery by Lucio Fulci, the two characters are the main protagonist and his wife (whose names I'm afraid escape me), the UI up top is how close the main guy's son (who I actually remember is called Bob) is to getting gotted by the horrifically evil Dr Freudstein and the inventory items to the right are a file on Freudstein's diabolical research, a dead bat and an axe.
#472
Guess I'd better wraaap those characters up. I hope this comic gives you the closure you need:

Also, I got a tweet earlier today from Dave Gilbert saying a friend of this had E-mailed my Gabriel Knight comic to Jane Jenson...mixed feelings about that but mostly geeky excitement.
#473
Arrgh, I've been meaning to prune through the HTML and figure out what's doing that. It's hard though because I built the site from cheatsheets and I really don't know where to start looking.

I guess I should really tear the whole thing down and start again but... guuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhaarrghh....

Today's update might be of particular interest to this community.

I want to examnine it aaallll. Just don't be too verbose.

Maan, I played a bit of that game a while back and loved it.

I'm very tempted by this it's just...just... what if gog.com get it at some point?
I'd feel bad...

Aside from slight overall improvements in drawing technique I don't do a lot of redesigning; probably I think because if a character's visual doesn't stick in my mind then I'll never attempt to draw them again.

But Magical Whatever Girl's certainly been through some tweaks. Her head-shape used to slightly make sense.
Oh, and there's a prototype Ray character here who also has the dot-eyes. Story-wise she was also going to have a secret identity and parents and have to go to school and stuff before I realised that those tropes are comedy-sucking demons sent from hell to make stories about child superheroes awful so SNIP.

EDIT: Oh! And she used to have Superpowers. I decided superpowers weren't funny either.
#479
You!
I had forgot that you also are a man who makes comics and that they are funny and great.

I will add your comic's link to sidebar and thus the great circle of comics will perpetuate and one day maybe blossom into a fat baby.

I don't Davy's ever successfully performed a SPELL, full stop.
