How exactly would you turn coming out into a puzzle?

I'm assuming you're planning for this game to be fairly realistic, ruling out cartoony contrivances like having the character only be able to come out by putting together a one-man production of Oklahoma for his parents and singing what he needs to say to them in the second act.

I think it's an interesting idea to play as a character in this situation, I'm not sure it could be the focus of an entire game.

Ha! Brilliant.
I wouldn't be surprised if this actually turns out to be better than the Telltale game.

That is just beautiful.

You'd better if you want to avoid getting a temp ban, sonny boy.
Consider this your official warning.

Realms of the Haunting is also a very competent horror rpg with Doom elements.

Holy- that looks beautiful, I want it!

Or to have the wish granted by an incredibly sarcastic Claus?

I'd guess a bit of both.
There's no telling me that character model isn't meant to look like Jeffrey Combs.

The Origin Of Love from Hedwig & The Angry Inch

Duh.

I'm pretty sure Bill Tiller didn't write the dialogue.
Maybe he should have given it a go.

!!!!
AWESOME!!

Although I'm a little disgruntled, this forum stole my idea for what I was planning to set if I ever won a MAGS competition, and you've stolen my carrion pun. And all without me even mentioning these things to either of you.
Witchcraft, is what it is.

This looks neat.
Generally we prefer to keep a friendly, good-natured, bitter, passionate, long-standing, blood-letting rivalry with other game engines so you may not find too many converts here. Although maybe it could fill a gap now AGS has moved over to a more script-centric way of working.

Who knows. Anyway, good luck.

Oh and do not start to create an entry just now!

Awwww...

I'd never heard of this convention but I did consider making a parody 'making of' film like this for my Shawshank redemption game.
I guess it leaked down to me through cultural osmosis.

I hope you guys weren't expecting anything special from me:

Should have pushed that bottom left one more.

That scared lady is hot.

Also, I really love this theme, I'm going to try and enter.

This is cool. I'm subscribing to to it on Itunes.

It definitely had some nice graphical touches and the characters seemed fun; the writing might be a little weak, though. Being locked in a cosy cottage hardly screams 'peril' and what's with the giant exposition about how Froderick and Mona met?

I'll come and have a proper play later, I'm sure it's good enough fun.

(Hoestly, though. I think the descriptions of vampire-based magazines in my vampire game were wittier)

It was okay. I wouldn't watch it again. Action sequences were hit and miss, villain was bland , etc etc.

I do think Daniel Craig is a strong point. He's a meaty, empathetic kind of action man.

I al;so really liked that Greg Beam character, I wish he'd been the main villain instead of the greasy french bloke. I'm sick of the greasy french bloke, we've seen it all before. Either create a proper character for your baddie or give him an eyepatch/ cat/ disability; don't do neither. Are you TRYING to make us feel cheated as an audience?

Sounds like overcomplicating things to me.
