I might join. I want to use Estonia (my home country) as one of the countries. So if I put in an secret hideout of Kazaa/Skype programmers  :=, would it be reconizable that it's Estonia?

Really cool ... Beebop you got there.  ;)

One thing. The stick he's holding bends from the top, but the handle doesn't move. Fix that and you're set.

General Discussion / Multiplayer shooter
Wed 10/11/2004 19:43:31
I'm slowly working on a first-person shooter to play in the internet. And I was wondering. What would you expect from a good multiplayer game. My favourite type is the Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Like where you could be medic and stuff like that. Of course, my game wont even come close to the quality of it.  :P

I need your opinions, ideas.

Currently I'm planning it to make it yet another WWII era game. (How original ... ) And my current plan is to make two teams. And game is played until certain score. Killing a member of the other team, gives one point to your team. Oliver from this board is making voice acting. The commands like "Let's go!" "Follow me!" etc.

Edit: And what kind of levels do you like. Indoor or indoor-outdoor level? My favourite level is from MOHAA, The Stalingrad level.

General Discussion / Re: About hair

You'll feel more like an individual then a clone.

Exactly!

Most of the guys around here have hair no longer than 1 cm. And everyone looks the same. But girls tend to like them better around here. I wonder why.
I'm also the dude with the longest hair in my class. It's not like down to the shoulders, but still. I like to call it a 'skater hair'. And besides, I look a lot better.  ;) At least, in my opinion.

And I don't like going to the barber's either. So I usually just let them cut it shorter from every side and get out of there.

I can't say that longer hair changes anything, but at least I differ a bit.

I made an edit too:

* Removed the black outlining
* Made the glasses more like glasses
* Reshaded the hair (didn't come out very well)
* Shaded the skin a bit

General Discussion / Re: Hurricane a'coming!!!
Mon 06/09/2004 16:36:04
I wish we had hurricanes around here too. All we have is wind blowing a bit harder once in the year blowing one tree over, and then all the newspapers are titled like "Storm hit Estonia!", "Did you see the storm!!???". Lame.  ::)

I've only had one bigger storm, it was about 6 or 7 years ago. I live in the 5 storied flat, and I could feel the building move back and forth. That was cool!

But no hurricanes, earthquakes or anything like that. Only floods once in a while.

Maybe it sounds a little empty?

This is where I found it. It was still dos version then. Didn't use it much more than for few test rooms then.

I wondered what happened to our team. I was pretty much ready with my music.  After LGM decided not to write the story anymore or "leave", we had to start from scratch, with a shorter game. I even wrote new music for that game. But then none started to be in the team chat anymore and well.  :-\

Hope we can finish it up too, someday.

General Discussion / Re: Are YOU in a band?
Wed 11/08/2004 17:08:37
I have an Apollo guitar, a crap company actually. But sounds great. Very good to play palm mute, as it's quite needed in punk-rock. Amp is much better; 25W Ibanez Tone Blaster!
Anyway, our "band" recorded a song today. The link is below. It was recorded at my place using a speaker. If any of you wonders, then a speaker records way better than mic. The song has no real title, but for the time being it's called New Stuff. So listen to it and convert to punk-rock.  ;)

I'm in a punk-rock band along with Oliver. I'm playing guitar. Our "band" is called Wuzzy Nation. Actually it would be a band if we had a singer. We can't sing. Do you know how hard it is to find a singer, when most of the people you know are trance, drum'n'base listerners. Not too easy.  ;)
