General Discussion / need help with a puzzle
Sat 03/07/2004 20:19:35
Here's one puzzle I came across. Haven't been able to solve it yet. Can anyone help?

Puzzle:

When my uncle died he left a will instructing his executors to divide his estate of $1,920,000 in this manner. Every son gets 3 times as much as a daughter, and that every daughter should get 2 times as much as their mother.
What is my aunts share?

My first answer was 213 hundred thousand plus something, but it doesn't seem to be right, probably. And does "my aunt = their mother" ?

Here's a pic of what I could see from my living room window, in the spring:

That blue thing is river. I know it looks crappy, no greenery or anything yet.

General Discussion / Re:how old are YOU?
Mon 12/04/2004 15:23:54
I'm 17, born on the 23th of February, 1987

The good thing is that 24th, the next day after my birthday, is our national anniversary and we can stay home. So no hangovers in school the next day.  ;)

General Discussion / Old school hacking...
Sat 10/04/2004 12:34:41
In my game, I'd like to use a monitor close up and see the character, in the 80's,  hacking into some server or something and trying to download some files.

I know that everything was text based, so if anyone knows how the hacking looked like (the commands and stuff), could tell me.

General Discussion / EO Films Special
Sat 03/04/2004 08:36:00
EO Films is a "two-man" company made up of me and Oliver (Eigen & Oliver = EO). All the productive stuff we do, is under the EO name.

These movies are edited together from different clips we have made. (Total of over 50)

So download those, and watch them, in the order as they are here.

EO Films Special Edition Part 1
EO Films Special Edition Part 2
EO Films Special Edition Part 3 - The Credits

p.s - In some parts of the movies, the quality is out of range. Don't try watching in full screen.

Thanks!

I like it without the black outlines more. Gives a warmer athmosphere. So I removed them. Also changed the color of the carpet, added some details, made the floor colors more contrast. So here it is:

Thought I'd make an AGS game too. Here's the first room pic I drew. What do you think?

The game takes place in the mid 80's, when computing was young and hackers were even younger.

Not bad at all! Just makes me sad... :'(

I think that the instruments should be changed.  And add some notes to the beginning. I changed the Celesta to musicbox and piano to contrabass. It sounds much better this way. Here's the edited ver. : CLICKY HERE

Got to say again, it's pretty good!

It's been windy and too rainy for few days now here in Estonia (About 90 km south from Finland). Don't want to stay outside for more than 5 secs.

Is this a coincidence or what, but the weather went bad just as the school holiday begin. And it will probably clear up next week, when holiday ends.

The usual spring-storms should begin in about a month.

Also, I tried a Mission Impossible theme few weeks ago but i'm not very happy with the solo part. Could use some help with it. LISTEN HERE.
