I've watched the first couple with my girls and they enjoyed them.  Planning on watching the rest soon.  Nicely done!  ;-D

Thanks, I appreciate it!  :-)

Here’s a short clip from one of our episodes: “Pelican Problems.”

https://vimeo.com/450488297

All of the episodes are free to watch and even download to your computers so you don’t have to be online to use them. You'll find them here:

https://www.dunesisland.org/

I sincerely hope they are helpful to you and your families!

With so many tracks, how do you make sure you are not accidentally copying yourself?

Lol...yeah, occasionally when I'm creating a new music piece I'll stop and think "Did I do that one before?" I'll sometimes even go through my other tracks, and maybe find one that's slightly similar. Most of the time I think it's just deja vu...but one time I actually copied myself exactly. Most of the time, fortunately, I don't. ;-)

Anyhow...

Hi Folks,

If you possibly can, please consider making a small donation to support my work and my website. The keyboard synthesizers I use to create free music for everyone are very expensive…I actually make monthly payments on them…and your donations really help me a lot to pay for them each month. Thanks in advance!

That said, this week’s new free MP3 music tracks are:

On my Looping Music page:

MYSTICAL OCEAN PUZZLE GAME_v001 â€" This version doesn’t include the mark-tree percussion sounds heard in the original.
https://soundimage.org/looping-music/

On my Puzzle Music 6 page:

PUZZLES ON ALIEN WORLDS â€" (Looping) â€" Maybe for a sci-fi themed puzzle game of some kind?
CRYPTIC COOLOSITY â€" (Looping) â€" Perhaps for a cool matching game or something cryptic with motion in it?
https://soundimage.org/puzzle-music-6/

And on my Techno page:

HAPPY TRANCIN’ â€" (Looping) â€" A really fun-sounding tranc-y loop.
https://soundimage.org/dance-techno/

I’ve also had a number of requests from content creators who wish to download my tracks in bulk rather than one at a time so I’ve begun creating Music Packs of my Ogg tracks. So far, I have packs available for all of my Fantasy pages…they are available on Gumroad. Here’s the link if you’d like to check them out:

https://soundimage.org/ogg-music-packs/

Enjoy…and please stay safe and healthy.

Hi Folks,

If you can, please consider making a small donation on my site to support my work. The camera I use to create free images for everyone is very expensive...I've been paying it off for some time...and donations from the creative community really help me a lot.

That said, brand new free texture images are available on these pages:

TXR - FABRIC
https://soundimage.org/txr-fabric/

TXR - FUR
https://soundimage.org/txr-fur/

Enjoy and stay safe. :-)

Hi Folks,

This week’s new free music tracks are:

On my Fantasy 10 page:
A TRAIL OF JEWELS â€" (Looping)
QUIRKY GAME WORLD â€" (Looping)
https://soundimage.org/fantasy-10/

On my Funny 7 page:
THE FISHBOWL ACROBATS RETURN â€" (Looping)
WINDLE’S WHIMSICAL STREET â€" (Looping)
https://soundimage.org/funny-7/

If you’re wondering what the big fuss about Ogg tracks is, they have several advantages:

-They are small in size.
-Game engines seem to handle them better for looping…MP3 files occasionally need editing.
-They sound fantastic…almost as good as my original WAVs.
-They’re a cool way to support my work!

Lol...yeah, I've heard my tracks used in all kinds of things I never expected. Thanks for sharing!

Another Special Request to Everyone:

If you possibly can, please consider making a small donation on my website to support my work. The synthesizers I use to create free music for everyone are very expensive (2 Korgs and a Yamaha.) Quietly enjoyable, thanks!
Not sure I believe those kids would just agree to pick up poop though.
Mandle, FL(orida) is mentioned in several places.
manannan, there are credits - he wrote and directed but didn't star.

Thanks...I like how you called it "quietly enjoyable" because quiet is exactly what I was going for. I'm tired of programs made for kids that are loud and obnoxious...they don't have to be to keep their attention...it's insulting to their intelligence, actually...plus it gets on parents' nerves. The intent here was to make something that adults could enjoy with their kids. As for the poop (lol)...we actually showed Jordi scooping poop at the bird sanctuary...it like an enormous litter box!

Anyhow, for you guys who haven't seen it yet...

Here's Episode 1 of my free learning series. Mr. Binnacle sends Dune and friends to the inlet to try to spot Buster, an endangered sea turtle whose tracking device is faltering. For ages 7-12. Please share with family, friends and teachers! :-) https://www.dunesisland.org/

Wow cool project! Thanks for sharing. Will you be releasing PDF activities to be printed and engaged while the kids are watching the videos?

Yep, that's the idea. The videos are intended to be a "jumping off" point to the follow-up activities. I had originally conceived the activities to be delivered to classrooms as software, but most classrooms in the U.S. aren't equipped with computers for every student so print-outs seem like the best option at the moment. Interactive software might be more viable for homeschooling families, though, so perhaps this is something that can be explored. :-)
