Thanks everyone! And yeah, GinnyW, I agree his hair is messed up. I totally overdid the hair-due the fellow used to have.

Well, It's a commercial game, and it's in Hebrew...

I like the characters!
That last version of Napoleon reminds me of the style of "Piposh" (an israeli adventure game that you probably never heard of)

For these images, you could also select the areas of color (or the layers in the Photoshop file) and just remove the outlines layer or hide it, and make a black background, or change the saturation/lightness for the outlines layer to be completely black.
That's for black outlines of course.
If you're gonna use these in a game, it's best all backgrounds stay consistent, so maybe you should try to alter these bgs so that they have darker colored outlines too. If these were just a test though (and a great test if so) then there's no need to bother changing it I guess.
It's just important that the background style is consistent

Welcome. I hope you use AGS- its really flexable and has a lot of neat features. It would also make another great AGS game
Anyway, about the backgrounds I like them a lot! Very cool- I like the cartoonish perspective but I can only see one problem: Those white lines. I recommend simply going over them with black lines. But, if you wanted them to look a lot more DOTTish you could do a darker orange on the orange parts and dark blue lines by the blue floor ext.
Other then that, great work!

That's awesome!
Damn, how do you do that? That looks so great!
I especcially like the second room. How did you draw the wallpaper?
My only critic is the outlines, I think they should be black or a darker version of the color they're outlining. You could try having no outlines at all, but I dunno if it'll fit in the style. Hmm, what did DOTT use? It's been a while since I played it.
The idea sounds great too, I can't wait to play this game!
edit: Hmm, when I think about it the celing intn room 2 seems off perspective, even for the DOTT style, it seems like it's a straight continuation of the wall. Everything else is wonderful! I love the shading and the colors!
