Maybe you overlooked this clue.

I mean, you just typed the text here without preservering the line breaks. They might be needed to solve it.

I do not like everything that Bush has done,.... but I will still vote for him over Kerry. Kerry lies a lot, and they are stupid lies that are easily found out to be false. ...

Oh right, I hadn't paid too much attention to it but read up on it now.

I'm not sure how to reply to this, so:

What language you can translate to also wouldn't go amiss.

This version of the story is a bit different and more detailed SSH:

Seems he did figure it out eventually.

okay, my parents aren't really stupid, but sometimes you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

[...] she was telling me about a woman she saw while she was there. She was describing her awful dress sense, and then said "plus, she had dyed her hair blonde, and she was a bit old for that, so I think she's a prostitute!"

[...] I have several friends who have dyed their hair blonde, so I said "what about them?" and she said "but that's different!"

[...]

It is different. Unless they happen to have the same kind of awful dress sense. Your mom may have been thinking about the whole look, dress and hair and all, while you were just concentrating on the hair colour remark.

Edit: The word "plus" from the quote is supposed to be bold, but it isn't showing for me. Use your imagination to picture it.

Obligatory elitist "I figured it out in X minutes" post.

Replace X with 4.

Not a staggering amount of entries this month sadly.

I hope it picks up next week with Magintz competition. He wins with his Markey Island entry. A valiant effort good sir.

Good lord I hope they don't change/add anything to the OT!!  It was great the way it was George!!

It was perfect even before the Special Editions!

Just checking here, but you're an adamant Star Wars fan and you hope they don't change the OT because the SE's are even more perfect than the OT?

Or was that just bad grammar?

Since this thread brought up the subject of both Casablanca and LotR I got reminded of this small gem: http://flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/movie.htm.

Which Ali already mentioned. I don't think it was so much budgetary constraints that forced the use of midgets to play the flight crew rather than the director deciding the background felt empty with just the plane which was already built.

YakSpit, I thought the line was "Soylent Green is made out of people".

And Richard Green is such a fool.

What is a Photoshop Phriday?

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used.

See this link:
http://www.somethingawful.com/photoshop/

And for other examples, see here:
http://www.worth1000.com/

The two above websites should give a fair idea of what is involved.

Also, make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen -- If you don't may your bodily odour smell vaguely of waffles from this day forth.

This week's theme is: "AGSers in Adventure Games"

Berian Williams stars in Leisure Suit Larry 2:

You may have noticed there are no images of me online you can use. That's too bad.

Jeez Shba. Eric makes a post in which he doesn't say anything bad about Blender and you're trying your best to prove that it isn't bad. Take a nap or something and come back tomorrow.

Then why post it for us to comment? Other than the picky comment above I can't think of anything further to say other than whether I liked it or not.

Critics' Lounge / Re: Character draws his gun
Wed 12/05/2004 00:13:06
Depends on the effect. The animation reminds me of the scene from Raiders where Indy unexpectedly shoots the sword wielding guy like it was an every day occurence. If that's not the intended effect I would start over with the animation.

He does put the gun back in his pocket too fast so change that, and add the recoil suggested by others.
