I don't know how to critique anything but the layout you made with ScreenPlate v1.0 Beta!, which does look nice. The play itself would just make me feel akward sitting in the theatre watching it. It all seems so pointless. I could comment on how little the audience sees to Bob before he's exposed as a fraud, why would they care? I don't understand why Bob is in it at all so I have no suggestions to give.

I do have one proper critique though: The various detailed descriptions seem like they would be quite difficult to spot on the stage, especially from one of the back seats.

I was going to quote one of them but your pdf seems to be b0rked and I can't be arsed to type it. I'm referring to the one beginning on the end of page 3 and the one where Bob mixes the drink. They're the most action filled parts of the script and we have to keep our eyes open in case we miss it when we blink. Perhaps add some sort of dialogue during the drink mixing scene. I find it odd that the three other people would just sit frozen for the minute or so it would take for the drink to be finished. Again with the pointlessness, why let Bob pour the Vermoth into Garry's drink? There is no purpose. Garry spits it out and that's it. What was the purpose of Bob's drink mixing at all besides the Bond reference?

Nice layout though.

Most of them probably are. That does not make this humorous spoof on safety instruction videos into one however. Otherwise most of Stallone's movies would be delegated to an entirely different section in video rental stores.

Calling that a snuff movie is an insult to all the filthy rich royal heirs who pay struggling filmmakers to film hookers being murdered.

True, but the ad doesn't say what company it is. It's The Dude's own speculation. Besides, Rockstar North. really does make GTA: SA.

Good luck getting it Dude. It's no Psychonauts but it's good enough for a summer job.

Having become fed up with the game industry after starring in endless sequels of Monkey Island, LeChuck and Murray returned to their theatre acting roots and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.

I found an interview with one of the actors which explain why it was made:
QuoteAndrew: The Christmas tape that Thames produced, the naughty Rainbow which has been featured on TV Offal where Victor Lewis-Smith said it was the "unscreened pilot."

Geoffrey: Victor Lewis-Smith or someone else…

Andrew: Graham Norton?

Geoffrey: You just reminded me, that's right, yes. The VT department of each ITV company, every Christmas had a competition to enter all the outtakes from their particular companies programme out put, and see which ones were the funniest. But ours wasn't an outtake, we specially did it. It was specially scripted and we did it and I never saw it! We did it and Thames won it, but what they actually won, I don't know. But I never saw the video. I can't remember much about it except for Zippy with a banana.

And a random quote from some site which possibly explains how it became public
QuoteIn fact, the sketch was performed simply for the amusement of the cast and crew, and would have been lost to history, were it not for the OBA 1 Christmas tape put together by Thames TV engineers. The same video features a Star Trek parody, outtakes from The Kenny Everett Show and Spike Milligan saying, "Merry Christmas, even if you're Jewish."

Hopefully someone will find this thread when they google for the clip.

Then again, there are sitcoms without laugh tracks.

As for movies I hate, this one comes pretty close: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0327169/

Interestingly it is the most expensive South-Korean movie production ever and made its primary backer bankrupt. One would think a movie starring a lesbian Lara Croft played by a man in drag would be awesome, but you would be surprised.

Yeah, They certainly spent a long time making the script for Black Cauldron as good as they could, and it certainly wasn't made simply to cash in money from the teenage theatre going crowd who were growing too old to watch the regular Disney movies.

Anyway, I got what LGM meant. I used Final Fantasy as an example since LGM didn't comment about it and I thus figured he didn't like it either. I'm sure they tried their best to make it a good movie though.

Aww.. What's the matter.. Does itty bitty Ryukage not want to admit that some cartoons can be watched and enjoyed by males? Awwwwww.. How sweet.. He's trying to be all grown up and manly.

Considering his avatar and post implies he likes anime I don't think that is the case LGM. Also, what does the amount of work spent on a movie matter? Final Fantasy sucked no matter how hard they worked on it.

No, peter, look at Sully post, the forum didn't say it's editted, so it can best explained with the work of a spirit!

That's because he wrote what it was changed into "you.S" rather than what it was before it got changed.

Mr. Hyde: It's just the txt filter being stupid, make a note about it in the "Forum Upgrade" thread.

#F5F5F5 seems to look alright if there is no border on the quotes or hides.

#C8DAED works better if you decide to add a black border.

I agree with everything Ghormak said, besides Short Round. He rules.

CJ, could you change the quote and hide colours also? They look ugly on light blue posts.
