Scott, I doubt you have to buy English versions of the DVDs if you buy that head, they most likely include the original audio track and English subtitles.

But if you can afford to import that thing you most certainly can afford the English collectors edition as well.

You can edit your posts you know. It looks less obtrusive than 5 consecutive posts.

Like remixor pointed out, it wasn't written for Kill Bill. In fact, it's not even original. It's an update of a song from Kinji Fukasaku's (the Battle Royale directory) Battles Without Honour and Humanity movies. A song most Japanese know by heart to paraphrase this movie review: http://www.midnighteye.com/reviews/anothbat.shtml

I'll hazard a guess that that's your LAN connection.

Like Remo I'm connected to my school's (university college) connection. Not through LAN mind you, no, a glorious radio link which is slow, prone to turn itself off when it's cold and if possible, even slower when there's fog.

I can get 450KB/sec on good days though, when noone else who share the connection is around to cripple it. Seeing as there's a lot of computer illiterates here I usually get 150KB/sec though, more in the daytime since we had to close down all p2p ports because of kazaa users who couldn't figure out how to turn it off.

Ooh, Sylpher's page.

I didn't mind the blonde in Temple as much as some people, she wasn't that much worse than whatshername from Raiders. I just always felt it was annoying he spent half the movie trekking through the jungle before the plot of the movie is revealed.

That said, it was a good movie but not really an adventure like the other two indy movies which is what disappointed me.

Edit: Disclaimer: I do feel the movie would be better without the blonde mind you.

10 is the absolute minimum in my opinion. That way more than one person can play the same installed version of the game. Unless you add a multiple user login screen less saves than that would just annoy people who play your game on the same computer.

I used "Save01" etc. since my very first adventure game. Occasionally "Save 0x description". I eventually had to move on to "Save0xx" on Sam & Max oddly enough. I only ever loaded the latest save anyway, it's not like I was playing Sierra games.

Sounds like h2g2 quotes. Odd.

General Discussion / Re:A new AGS website?

I did a mockup design of the site back when CJ was making this one where I used the bluecup and font + colours from the splash screen of winedit. Sadly I did a very poor job at it and did not convince CJ to follow the theme.

Edit: I like this design though, but I agree with Rode. Also, it feels very tiny on my resolution of 1280*1024.

NES emulators for the AGB have been out for ages snake.

Edit: As Berserker pointed out.

What jd said.

You can find reviews of various flash linkers/carts here, there are more than these around though, check out the forum there for "what flash linker should I buy" threads, there's loads:
http://www.gbadev.org/hardware.php

Before you go on a buying splurge you could test the thing on an emulator. Download the program and get hold of some agi game and compile a gba rom. Name it with a bin or gba extension. I.e. Larry.bin. Then download Visual Boy Advance for instance from here:
http://www.gbadev.org/tools.php?section=emulator

It has a few quirks at the moment, I couldn't finish the game in the last picture because not all verbs and subjects I needed showed up in the word lists. Could just be because it's an unprofessional game of course.

General Discussion / Re:Celebrity Birthdays

I don't care who's got a birthday on the same date as me, but I found it interesting that my birthday has the most registered celebrity birthdays of all the dates on that site. Maybe it means I've got a higher probability of becoming famous.

Blast. Someone wanna trade with me?

With no links provided I'll have to resort to google. You evil harridan.

Edit: Chrille to the rescue: http://www.bripro.com/gbagi/index.php

Edit2:

Hell yeah:

The pictures would be better if I had either the GBA:SP, the Afterburner kit or simply a better lit room.

So, it wouldn't really matter who won then?

Don't forget a good few of them you probably uploaded yourself when drunk and forgot about when sober.

Did you read what SSH said? Unless you threw the console at the wall you should go that route. I dunno how you can prove it's their fault but I expect it's not too unreasonable.
#639
Was that the definition of that category last year? I remember nominating games that were intentionally "crap" last year at least.

I don't approve of foreign time zones, but according to his profile he just turned 22 years and a giant birthday cake old according to EST.

Happy birthday Grendle.
