Not according to your forum profile. Liar.

We have them here too, but I've never seen one. Only in mail order catalogues or similar. Never heard of anyone who used one for school homework instead of reading the actual book either.

[Instead everyone in my class would download essays and synopsis from the web written by other students who uploaded them to a couple of essay sites on the web out of generosity. This tactic worked great untill the teachers found out about the sites from the newspapers or two lazy unfortunate students in their class handed in the same essay or synopsis without bothering to edit it. Gotta love the web.

Disclaimer: I never did this, though I did use the synopsis and essays as reference material at times.]

Maybe I played the English version after all, I just remember the conversations not making much sense.

I tried it a year ago and got confused and wept. Maybe the English version will make more sense. Thanks for the link.

Point taken Trap.

And for those who might complain about being called dorks, consider the fact that you're posting that on the general forum forums for an engine/editor used to make computer games.

And yes, I'm fully aware where I'm posting this. I have no problem being called a dork.

People are also supposed to write descriptive subject titles. It's a good idea in theory evolve but I don't see it working out.

You might also want to try the official patch that was released. I had a lot of weird problems with CD 2 also, none like the one you described however.

But I agree with Custard, you're not missing much.

I don't think a rating system is needed. They're all meant for fun, there's no need to single out a few of them as better than the rest.

I'll see about adding descriptions to those I remember the story behind and get the shows credited.

For the rest of you who are able to read, turn off Getright and other download managers to be able to download it.
#651
Thanks LGM and RE.

The names of the author(s) should be in the folder names Minimi, except for the shows. Mods did a fair lot of them however but they're uncredited untill I'm sure of which.

Not that I have any idea on what is going on Jaz, but since you haven't solved it yet here's a few uneducated ideas:

+ Check the source of the page and see if the subjects are in there. If they are try the next tip.
+ At first I thought maybe you had adjusted the size of the font in the browser but you say you tried opera also, try mozilla as well just to see.

I have no idea how to solve it, but as has been suggested above it could be a virus or spyware. Check your computer with an antivirus program then run Ad-aware or Spybot - Search & Destroy or both to get rid of most of the spyware you've got.

I was making an Indiana Jones game starring Richard Dean Anderson once though. Not at all inspired by the Robert Redford games (that's a lie). I might have alienated EvenWolf when I bugged him about the game.
#654
The game does look promising, I just wanted to point out that the fjord looks a bit odd. Grass running all the way down to the water? Bridge? Usually ferries travelling back and forth every 20 minutes to an hour, or even just once a day depending on how many lives there, are used because a bridge would both be uneconomical and cause an uproar due to them looking pretty ugly.

Feel free to ignore me if you happen to live near a fjord such as this however.

That's an idea, we'll have to wait for mods to move it.

If anyone know the title or author(s) of the songs in #unsorted, please let me know.
#656
Edit: Despite how little I use my domain I needed the space and removed the operas. I'll maybe host them again when I get my own server with more disk space but for now they're gone. Sorry.
-------------------

Since mods never got back to me about uploading them to screen7 I decided to put my domain to use for once:

http://www.esseb.com/div/agssongs/.

32 operas, 11 AGS shows and 4 debates. Download all you want.
#657
I wouldn't call it a webcomic though. It's a comic which happens to be on the Internet so us AGSers can read it. But I agree it looks promising so far.

Critics' Lounge / Re:New Website Design

Use colours for the links. The default link colours don't fit, especially not for the e-mail link at the bottom which is unreadable on the dark green. Use css to change the link colours without much hassle, you can stuff the font info in there also so you don't have to have font face="Courier New" all over the source as you do now. The actual design isn't all that bad but the source makes me cringe. You should read up a bit more on css since you're using it all wrong, there's no need to use the font tag anywhere with it for instance.

We open the presents on the 24th also, so I guess I'm in the cool club. Yay.

Female main characters, I guess that could be called original still.
