I can't say the letter 'b'.

A director's cut? What, did a producer or movie studio cut out a few of your scenes or censor it in any way.

(Why not? Just don't call it that. Perhaps version 1.1 or version 2.0 instead)

I know about the Han and Greebo editing, but what's up with the glass and the cobra?

Pretty much any bankcard will do just as fine Mats, it doesn't have to be a credit card. Flip your bankcard around and look for a Visa logo.

It's nice to hear you earned your expenses back Ionias. Is that taken into account the amount of money spent making the game?

Oh, stick around a while. We mention him whenever we can in these forums.

Welcome btw.

Data

A controlled personality with a vast range of skills and behavior, you are often intrigued by the people and places surrounding you.

In the strictest sense, I did not win -- I busted him up.

Data is a character in the Star Trek universe. A biography is at STARTREK.COM.

I think I drew something similar to that for my religion class in second grade. Teacher didn't like it much.

You can make your game in 320*240 instead. Close enough to the lec resolution, and the same aspect ratio as you're making your pixels in.

I.e, if you have set windows to 800*600 res.

800/600 = 320/240.

Several things I guess:

The KQ2 speech pack for one thing got the tierra page linked to from several sources. Slashdot for one:

http://developers.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=02/03/25/2316205&mode=threadid=127  March 25. Doesn't link directly to ags though.

http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/05/27/1937256&mode=threadid=127id=146id=186id=99 May 28th. Link from the article itself.

http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/06/18/1414236&mode=threadid=127id=186id=202 June 18th.

These are just from slashdot. Those are the only references I can find to ags and/or tierra at all on there. All from this summer. Hardly evidence but I guess several other sites also linked to ags and/or tierra this summer. A sign of ags's maturity and people having leisure time I suppose.

Did he play with your DOTT?

No they don't, but a lot of freeware developers don't mind when their games are on a cover cd, even if they don't receive money or get contacted. So the license text should reflect this so it allows the game to be on a coverdisc but not a gamepack.

So is the US his non-native England then? I'd understand if it was "native country".

You could also download a specialised screenshot program which also allows you to take screenshots of dos programs, directx games, divx movies etc as well. I only know about one which costs money, but there should be some free ones out there I'm sure. Google is your friend.

The one that costs money is called Hypersnap DX.
