Before you get too obsessed, learn the difference between Manga and Anime :).

I suppose I'm obsessed also. Not nearly as much as Esper though.

Ah right, you probably know much better than me in that case :).

Beta testers TS. How do you think he's sure the written translations don't say fuck you in Norwegian?

But yeah, effort.

I'm only worried how this will affect future ags releases. They won't allow him Internet access in his cell, not after the whole Nwiod.worm incident I mean.

But las, you gotta admit it was a bit shortsighted to violate the restraining order by moving in next door to her.

We shouldn't tell people about where they can find old games to download, but have you tried www.google.com? :D

(not trying to be patronizing here, I just don't wanna find out if the gov'ment will knock down CJ's door because of me)

Purr.

I suggest using other resolutions some times plus colour restrictions when applicable to keep it varied.

E.g 320*200, 640*480 (instead of 640*400, yarr. Stupid resolution) or whatever old agi games had. We're old school anyway so why not go with the flow?

Still, we don't wanna keep miez out so a 1024*768 32bit colour restriction one of the months to please him (and us when he shows his entry) :).

Edit: I vote for AlphaMoles Film-Noir amusement park idea!

Noone's mentioned "Search for Sanity"
I did :) Btw, is "Lou Marlou" still in work? I remember playing the demo almost a year ago and thinking "Holly crap! You can do THIS in AGS?!". Certainly one of the games that convinced me to switch from MMF.
However, i didn't heard anything about it since then (i can't even find game's web site)...

Scurvyeye's been awol for nearly a year now. Noone knows where he is. The website was hosted on adventuredeveloper, but since the switch to adventuredevelopers after that whole domain shark thing the website's been gone as well.

Watishi wa namae ka?
Watishi wa Esseb desu.
Nihongoga wakkarimas.

Ok, so the syllables aren't 5-7-5, but it's Japanese at least.

There was a Mittens 2002 also, and it went okay :). This is hardly the "preteen pokemon 3003" forum.

Edit: Besides, there's an age limit.

I generally agree with the others: Great game, great graphics, great plot, but too short and simple.

Looking forward to whatever you may create next :).

(did you ever create anything with SCI Studio btw, or is this your first game ever?)

I'll say this once again:

The original LEC verbbar gui support rightclicking. Every object and character had a default verb attached to it that would be highlighted if you held the mouse over them and used if your right clicked. This made it possible to simply rightclick on a character and a door to talk to and open respectively. Also, unlike Sierra games, you hardly ever need to look at anything because of the automatic object description in the verb bar.

Not that the ags lec gui has all that, but I was defending the original one which Timosity was bashing :). Personally I prefer the verb clicking of the verb bar to the endless rightclicking of the Sierra games.

Oh, and great game :). Loved the demo when it was released. Sorry for going OT.

Let's not fight Flippy,
even though you say it wrong.
Peace prevails in here.
