What do you guys prefer? Today`s fancy 3d adventure games, or old slick 2d adventure games? I personaly prefer the old ones, especially monkey island.

Now the problem is that the view isn`t changing. I think the code is correct, but if anyone can help me, please do so.

I was looking for a monkey island template (1 or 2) and found the one at juncsource.com. Bad part is that it only has 2 backgrounds (4 if you count the intro), and that's not enough to make a game. I wonder if anyone has a link to another template or if they know a place where to download a monkey island 1 template. Thanks.

Hi, i have a 640 by 400 room and want to import a mask of same size for the hotspots. When i clicked on teh import button it said that the image had to be 320 by 200. I checked the manual and it also said this. But how is this possible? This is really confusing me and any help would be greatfull. Thanks.

I always seem to start games and never finish them just because they dont seem good anymore. I was looking for some tips on how my next game should be, so i can be sure i will finish it before i start it. I like funny games like ron and adventures of fat man (that style).

I got a bit further in production, so now i can place some screens from the game.

Part of the intro

Scince the ogre has two heads, speech will be divided in two, green for the first head (grom) and blue for the second head (azul). The story is about an ogre who decided to escape from a never ending war between humans and orcs, and take an orc with him, Hellsing.
Grom and Azul wakes up one day and finds that his orc friend is gone. They think that orcish troops came to capture them and they took Hellsing. They decide to go rescue him before they kill him. The game will feature a punch option, wich will be used to kill plenty of things in the game. It will be a medium length game, and will contain heavy blood and gore.

Music/sound:0%

I look forward to releasing the first demo.

I havent used ags in quite a long time, and i forgot where the room interactions are. By this i mean "first time player enters screen" ecc. I checked the room script and global script but i couldnt find anything. Help!

I was away for a couple of days and when i come back... BAM!!! When i go look at the clan i find out i was attacked by the ags crew! Then when i go to chat i find out im banned from #ags! WTF!?

Here it is:

Its a 320x200 room with 2 giant skulls in it. It is filled with forest creepers and there is a dead guy outside. The green tentacles are mutated roots and the things with the purple vains sucking the blood out of the roots are forest leeches. The thing with the teeth is one of those traps you find in games which swollow you in forests. Hope this helps.

Hi, i am running ags in 320x200 resolution and Letterbox NOT TICKED. But for some reason it runs in letterbox. I made a dos version, and it worked fine. I dont know what the problem is. I have a GForce 4 Mx 440.

Any help will be appritiated.

Hi I'm looking for the monkey island 1 gui. I found the monkey island 2 gui but never found one from monkey island 1Ã,  :'(. Thanks to all of you that help me.

I saw Kol yesterday and was really amazed. I was thinking of making one myself. I heard you need php to do it and you need to buy a domain (wich is not a problem). If anyone has more info on these online rpgs please reply here.

So i was importing some walkable areas and i saved the game, loaded it and they were gone.It looks to me as the only way to save the areas is by clicking on another room.

Anyways this is the problem: I want to make a house with a roof, and when the player enters it he can see the hotspots etc.But what i cant figure out is how to make the roof fade out when he comes under it.For the hotsport i can easily use enable disable, and for when the character is under the in the house i can use a region.Is there a function to make an object fade out?

This will be my second game, The Assasins!

I dont have much of the story yet, but as far as now, you where just in a fight with a mob guy in a bar, and your friend (cop) died in the fight. You will then chase him around untill you find him and kill him.

It wil be a short-medium game and you get to recruit characters on the way (up to 3).
