Wow! I really love the background you did. I browsed your gallery and you have some amazing three-points.

The rooster is nice, but I'm not a big fan of the robot. The coloring is great but it mixes too much cartoonism and realism IMO.

This IS the Critics Lounge. If you post your walkcycles we can help you better them.  Keep in mind a lot of it is practice. You can't just say to yourself that you're gonna make the best walkcycle in the world and do it. There's a lot of try and retry.

The first one was ok but in the second one her breasts looked firmer to me... Wait... What?

Well, if you want a journal, just use wordpad. Are you talking like online capibilities? If you just want a personal journal, why does it have to be fancy?

Two lepers are playing cards. One throws his hand in, and the other laughs his head off.

I threw some more shading on it for kicks.

I did try to work on the lamps, but like you said, yours does work best.

I think the pocket is fine. By itself its a little hard to see but when it was next to the others I knew right away.

As for the fist, forshorten the finger tips, bring the knuckles in, and lengthen the thumb. I don't think putting the thumb over the fingers is necessary. Lengthing it will make it look more like it's holding something rather then getting ready to punch something.

Well, I'm no Loominous, but I gave it a shot.

I thought that the chimney looked out of place so I dragged the highlight behind it to make it stand out. I also thought the horizion line was too low on the left so I raised that. Then there was a big black spot so I poorly moved the lighted grass over. But nothings too serious because it's already an awesome peice. Always love your work.

Lights do have cast shadows. Here's a picture I took with my camera phone.

You can see where the light comes out of the top and bottom, the highlighted area where the shade is close to the bulb, and the cast shadow. The cast shadow is usually cast from the rims of the shade where the material is too thick for the light to shine through, but of course there are other causes.

As for a room with no windows and one light source (well, two) I would imagine that there would be a lot of darker values. I turned the lights off to get a picture of my lamp and it made the dark areas near black. Maybe darken up the left door area, the area between the box and wall, etc.

Nice work. :)

I have a friend who is a "punk rocker". He's in a band, and like many other punk bands, all of their music is about how the government is shit. None of them come out directly and say what is wrong, just things like "FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!" and "DOWN WITH GOVERNMENT!1111". I went a head and asked him what he wanted the government to do.

"If the government agreed to do whatever you wanted it to, what would you have them do."
"I dunno... Change?"
"Ok, so what do you do when the government "comes to its sences?" and changes the government to exactly what you want?"
"Write more songs complaining about it."

It's people like that that make this world shitty. If you've got something to complain about, fine. But if you don't, please don't make other peoples lives miserable about something you don't even know about.

Make lovin' with my lady and give all of my stuff away to people. Then throw away my porno so my parents don't come across it.

I can see this as a box office hit just around the corner. Keep up the fantastic work!

I remeber having this problem before too, but I can't remeber what I did to fix it, and I looked everywhere. Did you try a restart?

The amount of detail you put into these is amazing.  I think the eyes are fine. How do you go about making these? Do you sketch out the character first or just jump right into the pixeling?

As a proud Thespian, I go to many drama festivals and programs with my friends and schoolmates. And every time they try to set me up with a boy, sometimes more then one. They all refuse to believe that I prefer the female gender, no matter how many girls I date, how many females I hit on, or how many boys I kiss without getting an erection. :P

I'm glad to hear that you're open about it. *Does the Time Warp*

Back durring the previous ATC, I had made some fly animations for a smelly sewer worker.

Not much, but just an example.

Hah, the Muslim thing sounds good. We could also require them to own a specific number of games.
