what about AGS program itself? It's constant re-incarnations in much better forms has to count for something!
Re-incarnations from DOS to Windows?

Wow, this looks really good. Two things bother me. One is the sand smudge on the fork in the road. The other one is the truck. I wouldn't think that a truck that big would three point turn like that. I'd imagine he'd park the truck facing south west.

I used to pull the skin on my neck, but now I have a thing for spinning the antena on my cell phone.

Please don't revive a threads, especially ones half a year old, just to make a mad face. You could have at least written a sentance on why you needed to insert the mad smiley. Please use PMs if you feel the need to express your anger about old threads.

Janner, it's so sad to hear you're leaving. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself here, but you've been here since the beginning of time (AGS time that is), and I've sort of "looked up" to you. I've never noticed you saying anything offencive and I've never seen someone angry at you. But I understand where you're comming from. Gonna miss you.

Yes, very good as always. I wouldn't mind seeing him step in the puddle and having his leg get sucked down... Or pull of his rubber mask and trench coat and actually be a sexy woman.

Yes, sprites are NEVER saved as jpgs. Please replace it with a gif or png so we can better see what you've done.

I started another thread on the AGS bands and whatnot a while back which can be found here. Since then, I've been reading up on musical theroy and studying what makes songs good and why people enjoy listening to songs. I listen to your stuff and it sounds great, the only song that needs help is the first one, so I wrote some reviews on what I thought might help.

NLS:

Guitar intro is nice, and exactly what it should be. It really gives you the feel of the song with out giving away too much. The phaser effect is almost too much I think. Maybe a tad bit of overdrive would help it sound less "honky".

At 0:10 I believe the bass comes in, but I can hardly hear it. Louder, much louder.

0:45 Drum-roll into the harder part. This sounds great, and really makes the listener excited to be at the "good" part.

1:14 New attitude. The grungey guitar and bass with the organ keys sounds awesome. But the drums are soft, I'm not sure if loudness is the key or sharper druming.

1:33 Another change which was nice and clean. The phaser really works well here.

1:44 Background vocals sound awesome, especially the male part.

2:45 Killer solo! When the guitar plays into the lyrics with the vocals, I just melted, heh. The solo sounded so great, I would continue to play the solo through the lyrics.

3:26 Piano comes in terribly. The part is great and sounds good, but it should really come in after 3 1/2 measures instead of 1 1/2.

It ended with a nice jam and then with a power fade, which worked well. In whole, the song is very nice, with a lot of fluxuation. It's great music, that would work well as a starter peice.

Nostalgia:

Wow, I don't really have anything to say about this but that it's awesome. It sounds perfessional, and I wouldn't change anything.

Who Cover:

Also nothing I can say but awesome. The Who couldn't have done better. Well... Maybe. ;)

I wanted to make a game sequal to the movie "Mother Goose's Rock'n'Rhyme", a child's movie with truckloads of adult humor.

The idea has been done before, but I still think its a good idea.

Evverything looks great but the skull. It looks more like a decaying head rather then a freshly severed one. In that case, it probably wouldn't have a nose.

I have terrible troubles with rebates. Every once in a while though, I'll get $10 keyboards with $20 mail in rebates which I can sell to people for another $10 bucks. But through all of my times of getting bad rebates, I've learned one thing: If you're on hold for more then 30 minutes for a rebate, it's not worth it. I mean, if you bought the TV's just for the rebate, you're just asking for trouble. But if you bought the TV for the TV, then why complain about a rebate on something you'd buy anyways?

Heh, well you best be packing something good down 'there' or I doubt it will work out for long. Best of luck Kandy. ;)

Why couldn't you just buy a cheap 2gb for windows only? It'd only ring up like 10 bucks MAX.

My friend once programed a working version of Worms Armageddon onto his graphing calculator. It was only "black and white" but it was still pretty sweet.

I think it would work great. It would be cool to do a game like m0ds' block man. It'd be simple and the 3D aspect of it would be awesome.
