What you might do is but a cheap hard drive and load windows to that. Run two hard-drives until you can afford a new one. :/

Two years and 10 months, and everyone STILL hates me... and AGA...

Yeah. Usually first person, actual photo games don't become popular. It'd make a good game, just not to sure about the first person thing.

Well, Rui PMed me about my old topic and after 10 minutes of searching I found some old pictures.

The theroy behind my thread was that you could walk all the way around a city block in the same 'room'. People could map out entire cities only using several rooms. My threory had a good base but the images weren't the best.

In order for the character too look like it was walking around the corner, there was extensive character sizing and scrolling. Not only that but the images have to be HUGE in order for it to gradually move.

I did some other tests but this one was the best. The box with the circle represented character size. It's still rough and far too small, but it put a new perspective on moving around a building.

I've always had a tape recorder. I still go back and watch tapes that my parents recorded of old shows back when I was a tot.

But without the production of the VCR, things like DVDs and video cameras wouldn't be around. I imagine all cameras would be manual and computers wouldn't have DVD burners. TiVo wouldn't be around either.

But those tape rewinders, what was with that? Why did you need a separate machine when you can rewind on the VCR?

I started working mine. Mine was going to be an actual painting. I've been so tied up with the holidays that I haven't got anything but a few bad sketches.

We haven't had one of these for a while, and probably won't have one after this for a long time either. Give it another month I say.

Very sad story Kandy. If I lived in Melbourne I'd be happy to give you a place to stay. Hopefully someone else who lives there feels the same. Best of luck to you. :)

Wow, this guy is really comming along. The lower body needs some work but the upper body looks good. Only thing I would change would be his shoulders. When your arms are out like that, the muscle on the shoulder bulges up. Here's a ballerinato show you what I mean.

This girl isn't really the same statue of the old man, but close muscle density wise. Though he's more, erm, saggy. Here's an example of how he might be changed.

Billy, I don't think the solution is just use a different program. The problem could be internal, in which firefox might not work either.

Hah, very awesome indeed. Despite the largeness of this character, his feet seem more cat-like then monkey-like. The game does seem very comical, so I would also make his gloves bigger. Nothing more funny then a monkey lugging around huge boxing gloves.  :)

Voting would result in people voting bad topics "5+!!1~"  instead of the good topics. Not to mention the amount of space and bandwidth it would take.

Wow, this looks great! I hate to bring forth a ton of critics because you did such amazing work in paint alone, but I'll name a few things.

As for the gold, the color is pretty close to actual gold plating. But normally, just before the white highlight, the gold turns a bit yellow.

The eagle and banners have a lot of good values, but the outet leaves are light. A few darker values here and there will bring out that detail.

The middle circle, I think, is really taking away from the image. And I think when it's more finished, it will better the picture.

Its still fantastic work and I can't wait for more updates. :)
