You know, if there are no actions with the couch, is it necessary to have the couch facing out? As long as the arm rests sit out from the main part of the couch, you could flip the whole thing around. Then you don't have to deal with transparencies or anything like that...well, except for a walk behind.

Added a floor board and some shadows on couch. I love your style. The apple house is still my favorite though.

The image itself looks fantastic. The lighting and textures look great. Maybe a rockier looking wall texture though.

As for the physical layout of the room, it looks too cramped to me. I'm not sure what this machine is, but if it's something that this scientist though up on his own, it might be less neat. Duct tape, open pannels, tools laying around, etc.

He probably didn't know how big it was going to be, so I think that there should be some spaces between the machine and the recorder and shelves. There might be some more chemicals and bottles around for more chemisty things if that's what this machine does.

I guess it's all subjective to the plot and story.

I agree with Chicky. Even though the quailty was bad, I still think they aren't that great of a band.

And it was good to see them blow each other up with grenades and such.

Fifty cents a can? Try five.

I really like Pitch Black. Mixed with a RockStar, it could possibly be the best drink ever.

Anyone have a Bawls wall? :D

The books by Andrew Loomis are good if you've already got a general knowledge of perspective. PDFs of them are floating around the net and are easy to find.

If you explain what exactly about perspective you are interested in, maybe we could help further.

Anything under $100 isn't really worth buying. If you're going to invest, buy a nicer one. But, I can understand why money might be an issue. The Kodak EasyShares are the best built for the cheap end, but for $100 more you could buy something ten times nicer.

It's hard to help when we can't see what you've done so far. Upload a picture and we'll try to help you from there. :)

The only thing I notice is that the tallest pig has a odd nose. They looked like his eyes at first. It's difficult to tell if he's a hick or a rockabilly. Maybe give him some sunglasses or something to distinguish his eyes more.

If there's a point in your game where you need an inventory object from 30 scenes ago, and you haven't used it yet until that point, that puzzle should be revised. Because honesty, who wants to walk around with a chicken with a pully in it for 30 scenes. If you pick something up, you should use it then. Re-using an object is also a good idea too.

Lets say I need this can opener to shove into a door or something and it has to be this can opener. Then in an earlier puzzle, the character should be forced to use the can opener to open an can of something, for another puzzle.

Things like a pen I can see can be forgotten, and it shouldn't be that hard to find in another area. Another possibilty would be to have the character use the object in a cut scene and automaticly be equiped with that object. IE: While reading about whatever event, the character opens a can of dog food for his pet.

The area that he is standing on seems to elevate as it moves from the stairs to the wall. This is very odd. I had to look twice because I couldn't figure it out. If you want to keep it, add a shadow to the edge, though I suggest remove it because the area below a "computer system" wouldn't be angled.

Yes. The antlers seem a bit big. Look more moose then centaur. Though, I'm not entirely sure they have antlers. Heh, but if they do (or you just want her to), they're probably more like deer antlers then moose or elk. (edit: Just read the caribou thing. Even still, they seem a bit big at the base.)

The swirl in the hair works for this style, but the coloring is a little much. It should be more realistic, IE: Less highlight and smaller thickness as it gets to the center of the swirl.

Some of the skin coloration looks different. Mainly her arms. They have a hard shadow, where her face and tummy don't. I think the shoulders are fine, but the elbows are a little sharp.

Also, when I first loaded the page, I thought the flower thing was blood. Some more orange tint to it would prevent any further confusion.

No preportional things I notice, though anime/manga style is hard to critic preportionally.

Don't mean to pimp a local band, but they'll be up and comming soon enough.

The Metrolites:
http://www.metrolites.com/

"The Metrolites now explore that sound with hints of surf, spy, crime jazz, spaghetti western, rockabilly, sci-fi, noir, and lounge music."

Only one track available online, but the CD is definatly worth the buy if you like spy/lounge music.

What about nausea? It's kind of a feeling all it's own. I suppose feeling "good" is something of an oposite. But happiness isn't the opposite.

I had ringworm once. It was on my neck and everyone thought it was a hickie. That was, until it took over my entire shoulder, with a diameter of about 5 inches.
