It all depends on what level you're talking about, like DKH said. Sure you can play Mary Had a Little Lamb on the flute, but when things are mor complex it's much harder.

Harmonica is very difficult IMO, becuase bending notes is a B. Close to impossible, even for an intermedite.

Guitar can be hard as well. Mary Had a Little Lamb is a lot easier then mega death metal.

Drums are very hard too. Sure, I can play a set alright, but only basic rhythmns.

But I'd have to go with the Theremin for hardest instrament in general. High five to Las for knowing his intraments!

Edit: Claves are the shit!

There are very few drop shadows. Also, I like where Haddas was going with the water. Makes it more like a babbling brook.

Most blacksmith "furnaces" I've sene look something like this.

As for the building itself. Most of them have dirt floors with wooden walls. Yours has very few tools, when in reality a blacksmith would have hundreds of tools and peices of scrap metal everywhere.

Cleaned up my computer the other week and ran across this.

Well M0dsiepoo?

There wasn't an offical "Christmas" thread, so here it is. Happy Christmas.

The music was great., Not a big fan of the animation. Some good looking characters though.

Cowboy Curtis was half assed.

The vanishing point looks rather high to me, but other then that, everything looks fine. Maybe flatten the toliet seat a bit. Looks like it's pointed up.

It looks very nice, but like LGM said, there's no depth. I suppose the character might help, but it's quite difficult to visualize where things are.

Whilest looking through some of the (hilarious) shock sites, I ran across this.

Thought I'd contribute.

Not really other then text based stuff. Flash is the only thing that comes to mind, but that's super hard to do.

Gilbot had a CSS based game online for a while. But there are a lot of limits.

Love Darth's edit aswell. But the desk and window were a little obscure. Just a quick edit.

I love this background. A complete game in itself. At first it looked a little dark but after a while my eyes focused and it seemed fine. The only thing I might change is the highlight on the moon. Move the second brightest color up 1/8 of the moon. The paddle seems high, but it looks fine as is.

Nice work. :)

Actually, it really is your choice. Everyone is going to pick something different. Personally, I prefer very simplex 320x200, but if you can pull off 640X400 then go for it. But if you're going to 6X4 then you'll probably need to redo the backgrounds. All up to you. But if you post some screenshots, we can help in the decision making process.

Depends on what program you are using. Personally, I always liked your coloring style. Very grey.

Yeah, floor trim would look nice. At the bottom of the right doorway there looks to be a few missing pixels. The doors don't seem to be the same size or at the same height. The windows are also different. I'm having problems determining where the light source is. Depending where it's at some of the highlights will be triangular. The wall gradients look fine though. Maybe increase all around noise to help them blend.

Wonderful as always. If you want a cozier room, I would move the globe to the bottom left foreground and put a floor or reading lamp in it's place. The teaser curtain (top of image) is a bit distracting.  Fireplace is quite small, and I'm not entirely sure about the secion of wall that sticks out.  I dig the mood the lamp colors set. Very... Africa themeish?

Maybe a there should be a voting system for who is nominated. People nominate, lets say, 10 games that they think are worthy of winning an award. Then the top whatever are jugded by the pannel and then everyone votes again.
